荣添 mealtime

My 荣添 has been eating from the spoon for the past few weeks. He is still learning, and he likes to put his fingers into his mouth with the brown rice. This little prince is a little impatient, coz when he gets too hungry, he wanna us to feed him faster.

荣添 will be missing his daddy.. as daddy will be sailing to pattaya on 2nd january 2009. He will be back only 17 jan. Hopefully by the time dearie is back, his precious son can start crawling! Today is my off day, i feel so restless to go out. Back is aching, as my ... ... is here. Sis and bro in law is coming over for dinner later. I bet their sweet sweet baby will be so happy to see them!

My friend told me that the movie, Australia is a great show. MUST watch. I guess its a romance show. dearie and i not very into this type of show. Will ask him see if he wanna watch ornot. But i know he will rather watch the IP man. We both prefer action show. Anyway, if he got popcorn to eat, he watch any show also nice.

New year eve is here soon, no idea where to celebrate. Don't intend to go out, coz will be damn crowded. I wanted to jio secondary school friends to May's house, if not ask them to come my place, hee.... den we can order some fast food for dinner!

New Year Resolutions 2009

1. Spend more time with family and friends. My first new year resolution. Life is short, time is precious. I will have dinner with my mum, sis, inlaws every week or even twice a week! I want to make plans to meet out with all my friends more often! I would like to catch up with my cousins, joreen and alex soon.

2. Stay healthy n fit. That will be second aim for the new year. Due to the lack of exercise, i became so much weaker, as compared to secondary school days when i was so active in all types of sports game. Even polydays, i don't get sick at all. During preganancy, i admit tat i am so sick that i always on MC. It really affect my work life. Even so, i got the top ranking, get promoted,and some of my colleagues got RED EYE. After my confinement, i feel so much healthier. Though i'm fat, but i eat proper meals, instead of cakes, biscuits etc. Coming year, i must eat more nutritious food, to get ready for my little princess! hee...

3. Excel in my career. I will perform well in my job, to work smart and to get promoted again soon. To love my job more, to be able to communicate with my colleagues more. To be more positive, to have to better attitude.

4. To achieve back our $50k. During our wedding in 2007, dearie spent away his first 50k savings. That include the wedding dinner, the house reno, the honeymoon, the wedding photos. Next year, we will be achieving that amount together. (Provided those who owe us money don't become bad debts)

5. To have a Family overseas trip together. Be it Japan, Taiwan or Hongkong, or even a Superstar Cruise! i hope we can have a family trip next year. With my little Princeton :) Its either June or dec, coz siyong can only take leave during school holidays. Even if sis or me are preggy tat time, i tink short trip shouldn't be a problem bah.

Hope the coming 2009, everybody can enjoy life more, and less stress in their work! Though it is going to be a recession year, there's nothing much we can do. So why not just smile and spend which day as though its our last day!

Weekend niteout with hubby...

Just came back from Jurong Point 24hours NTUC.. b4 tat we had dinner over my inlaws place. Today Princeton playground is here in the afternoon. We got it set up, including the puzzle floormat and 200balls for my little boy to play! He was giggling when we put him in. But later on he feels abit scared, so i hugged him nearer to me. He was certain this particular "place" was a totally new environment for him. So i guess it may took him afew days for him to get used to it.

Dearie and i were very surprised that Princeton was able to sit up on his own today! We both were very happy. Exactly 7months he stood up. Though some of my friend's baby girl can sit up as early as 5months lol. Ppl said girls are faster learner than boys :p well, tat's y we grow older faster too haiz.

After dinner, we brought Prince home first, played with him awhile, den dearie kept pestering me to go out. This man cannot cope at home, esp when he will be going for 2weeks sailing soon. So we decided to explore JP NTUC, coz its 24hrs! This NTUC so big wor.... just like carrefour. It sells almost everything! We brought another cupboard for Princeton! haha.... his clothes are increasing, and the current one is running out of space. Now my whole living room is abit untidy, gona make some changes in the arrangement of furniture.

Dearie likes to shop alot, after i bought wat i want, i will go. But he opposite, he likes to see here and see there. He likes to window shop. Like a children, he loves ice cream. Tmr is sunday, hope i can wake up early to accompany my love ones. Good nite ....

Non- stop working!

For the past 2 weeks, i'm alone upstairs opening accounts for customers. As my officer is on leave, i got to clear the queue all by myself. Xmas eve is a very vey crowded day. Today is even worse! I can't even stop and go to the toliet. Told myself that, i can do it. Keep myself sharp, and try my best to serve as fast as possible. But there were customers simply cannot " zi dong". The Q behind them so long already, still wanna jammed me with so many irrelvant questions. But of course gota answer them tactfully. Working in this line makes me feel i'm wearing a mask. haiz.. Well, i understand customer service is like this.

So after work today, i chop chop finish my area of work and dashed home. Can't be bothered by other things. Took a cab home to see my little precious! He was sleeping when i reached home. Tmr his playground will be here. Dearie and i went kiddy palace to buy it yesterday. It cost me $350! I bought two instead of one, coz i found that one is too small. We bought 200 balls too! I believe Princeton will like it. My living room is quite big, so i guess there will be enough space for it.

At home, we very very seldom on the tv. I believed that children cannot watch to much tv program, other than those which teaches them to read and to sing songs. As tv programs will expose children to negative things like violent actions, negative words etc. Even some cartoon shows are very violent too. We should never think that we are over protecting our children. As they are still so little, they need us to guide them to the correct path. Babies are not animals, they can't survive on their own. When they turned toddler, we have to let them know very clearly what is right and wat is wrong.

Some of the youngsters nowadays, 19yrs old already, one shit part time job also never work b4! Even come to bank also need parents to accompany! PIN Number also cannot decide on their own. This kind of children is toooooooo pampered. The day when they start working, i think their parents must bring lunch boxes to their office everyday! Parents are at fault too. You never give ur child a chance to be independent.

In summary, when it's time to protect, protect by all means. When its time to let go, we must learn to let go. (sounds bullshit, but alot of ppl can't do it)

Sister, Siyong, thks for all the gifts!

Yesterday we had xmas celebration at the church in expo. Though its a rainy evening, but the hall was fully packed with ppl! There were estimated 9000 ppl i guess.... but it wasn't stuffy at all, it was so cooling.

The event was very interested, very entertaining as well. haha.... we brought princeton along too. This time he was well behaved, can even sleep in his pram. but of course when the crowd clapped so loudly, he kick and kick his legs. After the service, we went geylang for supper! Then we head to sis's house and countdown. wow.... sis bought so so so many clothes for Princeton! This is one of the M&M clothes which they bought! Sis also help me to buy three coach bags... thought i prefer her bag more, hee... but anyway we can always share ya.

I appreciated sis and siyong alot... they bought us xmas gifts too! A sweater and a polo T for me and zhenyu. I pray that next year i can have a nephew/niece too... Hope that sis can put on some weight, be healthier, and get ready for a baby!

A packed weekend

Gosh! this weekend is so packed for me! Last fri after work, rush back home and had a quick bath, den went to my secondary school friend, yeeling's wedding. She held at bukit batok CSC.... i brought Princeton n my helper along too. Coz dearie going for his ship dinner. Princeton's mood was not that happi tat nite.. mainly bcoz he din not have enough sleep, and it was too noisy there too.

On sat, after work, went over my in law's place for dinner. We go back once every week. Well, if we don't go back, they won't come over themselves one lor. Anyway i count myself lucky, i got my own space. Perhaps i'm abit self centred, i cannot adjust myself to suit others. haha...

Yesterday was Jaden full month celebration.. We intend to reach at 12pm, though the event only start at 1pm. But May was my best friend, so confirm must reach early! hee... But Princeton was taking his nap, so we reached at 1230. We were still the first to reach, haha. Had a gd chat with May, and found out that she had some problems regarding who is going to take care of Jaden. hmm.. i agreed with her that, if MIL cannot concentrate to take care of my son, den i rather spend $ look for a nanny. She was suggesting if my mum can help out. But i asked mum, she said she always go out, dance, sing song, shopping, so difficult to stay at hm to look after Jaden. By den Princeton will be almost 10months, and my helper is very experience in looking after Princeton already. So mum can relax go out and do her own thing. If my mum really agreed to look after Jaden, tat would be wonderful sia.... i always believe, babies must have companion, den they will learn to share and learn things together!

Parents are like that, we love our children so much that we always think of them first. But never forget to love our parents too. Our children have eyes to see, they see and observe the way u treat ur parents, and they will learn. If u only love ur children, and neglect ur parents, they will learn from it. So next time when they grow up, they will also love their own children ONLY. So let us always look far ahead! LOVE your parents, LOVE GOD.

Princeton coming 7months in his new walker!

Princeton Tay is turning out 7months soon.. We went kiddy palace and bought a walker for him. We let little prince sit on many walkers, and see which one he like most. haha... every walker he likes it, and he really enjoys it. So we choose one that is musical.

Princeton boy can recognise us very well already. The way he saw unfamilar faces, and the way he see us is very different. When he saw other ppl.... he will react two ways. One is either he will be scared, he crys. Two is he will observe that person, keep looking at him/her. He won't smile nor cry, he will look very serious wor. haha. So whether he likes u ornot, u can tell it at once.

I love to bring him out for shopping, even though he sleep throughout on the pram sometimes. Coz i believe baby cannot be cope at home, they need to see more things, and hear more things. While he is at home, i have a schedule for his learning.. He will watch the education DVD, listen to bible songs/playtime songs and watch sesame street cartoon! My helper will show him the flash card too, and read to him at the same time... He is still a baby, but i am sure he is learning!

This morning, dearie and mum brought baby to the clinic for his routine injection. oh my god.... i'm so surprise that he didn't cry at all! dearie told me our Princeton is so brave :) hee... he aso comment that mayb his skin is too thick lol.

There are simply so many things that i wanna do for him. Esp the food that he eats. Currently he is only having milk and brown rice. Every morning, he will have milk with cereals. Mum will prepare the porridge with codfish and brocolli and carrot next month onwards. My sweet sweet baby had brought so much joy and laughter to my family! Can't wait to hear him call me mummi!

Busy saturday @ work

Overslept this morning... jump out of the bed at 7am! i'm suppose to wake up at 615 every morning. i guess i'm too tired. dearie is on duty, so he's not at hm to drive me to work. I took a cab then.

Abit late for my soya beancurb breakfast, so just grab a bun to eat. Today i'm at the customer service counter. Sat is a damn busi day at bank... esp the enquire counter. Coz there will be big crowds there to ask soooooo many questions. I have only one mouth and i got to handle these people. hehe... luckily i'm experience enough and got the product knowledge, lol.

Of course there will be some customers who are very demanding, so i have to use another method to shut their mouth up. Except those who wants to see the manager, den i got no choice. Next two weeks i will be upstairs, opening accounts. Oh that will be tougher, as some of the procedures are too complicated. For example, Bankers Guarantee. Some more my supervior is going on leave, if i meet with difficulty, nobody to call for help le.

This afternoon i took a nap. Guess wat, i dreamt tat i scold a customer! HAHA. wat a funni dream. I still rem wat i said, " Please don't shut at me like this! i'm the staff of DBS, i'm not your slave or your worker! So if u want good service, u FIRST be a good attitude customer!" wow..... bravo.... when i woke up, i praise myself. hee... i think when its my last day at work, then i will tell a customer off like this.

Tmr is sunday, we plan to go jurong point the whole day. Wanna explore JP, bring Princeton go see see things aso. If the time is early, perhaps will msg May again, go see jaden! My next off day is on xmas only, sob!

New look @ Jurong Point

Yesterday, dearie and i went to JP for dinner. We had subway tuna, our favourite. After tat went for window shopping. wow... JP is becoming sooo big now. There are so many restaurants at the basement. U can name all... watever town area have, JP aso have one. Even Dian Xiao Er aso have lor. The parking lot had extended too. i tin almost as big as IMM.

Dearie accompany mi walk here and there. He is a kind of man who can really shop... he dont get tired of walking, really. haha... unlike mi, i'm quite different from most of the ladies. Many of my friends got great stamina ya. If i like something, i will buy it. I can make fast decision, but of course accurate as well. I dont like to try here and there, try until i like. feel it's a waste of time. For a dress for example, when i see it, i knew whether i will like it, and i will know whether it will look nice on mi.

Well, cny is coming, so gona go grab some new dress. Dearie aso... for the Tay family, we are quite old fashion... we believe tat new yr means everytin new... tat includes towel, toothbrush, undergarments, bedsheets, shoes, bags... etc. Anything tat is torn must be thrown away.

Hopefully the coming cny my Princeton can earn back more ang bao money!

Princeton 6months 1week 4days

Back to work today, after one week leave... My chubby prince had a slight cough and flu. All bcoz of me... he got the virus from me. though i understand tat i cant get near him, but u know sometimes he's soooo cute tat i wanna kisssss him!Brought him to the clinic, the doc said its okie, just had some mild medicine, he'll be alrite in 3days. He is now 60cm and 9kg. He can't really sit up on his own, and he doesn't have any teeth yet wor. But he can talk baby languages very well!

Last few days we had a great weekend... On sunday, I met up with my polymates at The Paradiz centre. We had steamboat at the Hokkaido hotpot. haha... been there several times, and i never get tired of eating. The food is just fresh and yummy!

Met up wif my polymates, been a long time since i saw this long lost friend of mine, elisa. She's still so pretty, and most of all, she's so slim! Really hope she can get back all her courage and motivation, a new start for 2009! My art and craft friend Yahui had her second blessing boy.... she is 6months preggy now... congrats! She looks so energentic and her apptetite is very gd too.

The most coincidence thing was that all of us carried the same brand of bag... haha! COACH, the most trendy brand now.

Yesterday, we had lunch with my uncle family. Though i have many uncles, i tink 5. But uncle william is the only one who is close to our family. The rest are just rubbish. Rubbish sometimes might be useful, still can be recycled. So im trying to say they are worse than rubbish, ie useless. Watever isit, is none of my business... i felt so honoured tat uncle william is my relative, coz he is so young, oni 40, and he is already a millioniare. But of course u gona pay a certain price, as his health is not very well. I pray hard tat he can live till 100.

Dearie getting his bonus tmr! hehehe.. so happi lo. Wana pamper myself for some bags. Coz sis going USA soon, yeah. Of course we will set aside for savings too. Must rem our goal.. 4 more years to go!

Home visit @ May's house 051208

Last nite, the Tay family went over May's house for a visit. We had dinner at JP, actually intend to buy a walker for little Princeton, but Kiddy Palace was closed by den.

I msg May if we could go over her place, though its quite late. She said ok! yeah, so we got to see Princeton didi, Jaden Bong. Jaden was sleeping when we reached there... he's so cute lol. The lips 100% likes kai fang one. haha... Dearie likes to carry babies... he gets to carry jaden, lucky he din cry. I was coughing badly, so dont dare to carry jaden. May commented Princeton very fat & chubby. hee... like sumo wrestler.

Our Princeton likes May's place... he was enjoying lying on their sofa, and was laughing (actually screaming) towards the end. Very soon, our best friend Gladys's baby boy will be joining the group soon! Hope tat the 3 brothers will stay healthy, play and study together :)

Back from Genting Trip....

We're back from genting. We had fun in the casino of course... i won 500 bucks in less than an hour. but later lost 400plus. but hubby lose everytin lor. haiz... expected... told him his method of gambling cant work. Well, anyway he just like the thrill of playing.

Both of us suffered from serious diarrhoea... first day at genting, we ran in and out of the toilet at least 7times! Dun know wat we ate... the food at some places in malaysia really damn dirty. I cannot stand dirty toilets too, yucks!

We enjoyed ourselves there. Went for bowling, ktv, watch movies and good food! We watched 2movies there... bought a premium seats, OSIM massage chair.... wow... first time i get to massage, and watch a movie at the same time.

The coach tat we took was an executive coach. We purposely choose a better one, coz hopefully we can have a more comfortable trip. Miz our Princeton so so much! First tin i came back was to hug hug him.. 4days never see him, he seems to grow again! Next few days we're going to spend quality time with our boy... will bring him out for shopping too.

Tmr will be miting my ex navy friends. Sun will have a gathering wif my poly friends. Guess very soon, i will ask my sec friends to go May's house together. To pay her a visit. Will pester hubby to bring Princeton along for these gathering. hee...
