SO happy! I can start designing and decorating on Monday. Tomorrow must spend our quality times with the lil Ps as usual:) Shall bring them to the Library at Frontier Community Centre. I will make it a routine every sat after Tian's phonics & breakfast. I do not expect him to read for a long period. 15-20mins is very sufficient. Because today i learnt from a professional that children's brain cell are so powerful that they can absorb everything under the sun. They learn it fast but SHORT. Whereas we adults learn it slow but LONG. So the right formula for them is to increase the frequency. I can read books to them every night, be it only 5mins is good enough:) We do it everyday, and this will locked into their daily routine, thus will become a good habit.
Just like sitting down for a meal. It had become a routine that, Princeton needs to have a bowl of soup, fish and steam egg for every dinner. (although sometimes my mum do cook noodles/bee hoon, he finished it as well) He had cultivated the habit of sitting down to eat, with no toys/TV or other entertainment. The theory is, Never limit what our children can learn. Never be afraid to let them try. (Be it food or activities) Many Parents limit their children to think what they can do. Remember they can go as far as their mind let them.
What they believe, they CAN acheive.
It's always the parents fault for the children's behaviour. Princeton recently likes to on the air con before bedtime. I gave in to him once, and now it had became a MUST. Haiz... but i do switch it off after he fall asleep.... Perhaps someday its really too hot. But at least he is stronger now, could withstand coldness. Unlike at this period last time, he sure will suffered from slight cough which really upset me.
Today, Princeton had officially promoted from PG2 to Nursery, and I'm glad his favourite teacher followed them up. Though the Chinese teacher had changed to Lin Lao Shi (previously Princeton was taught by her when he was in PG1) She feedback to me that Tian could communicate in Mandarin so much now. And could go without milk&diaper whole day in the centre. No wonder at home drink non stop ^^ (misses his milk too much) But one thing i do not like about the school arrangement is that, Princeton always sit at the last row:( Just because he is taller. I felt it's unfair because students sitting in front could see and hear clearer than those behind. These of course benefits more. I felt the school should go in a rotating style, to rotate the students every few days, so that each of them get a fair pie. Shall feedback to the principal when i made payment for the school fees.
Xmas is coming!! And the school is going to have a celebration cum performance from the students again:) It will be held on the 16th Dec Friday, and hubby is going to take leave to catch his son's performance on time! Looking forward to see him sing and dance as a group.
