I jogged slowly for ten mins (non stop). After which i jogged and walked... beginning to feel breathless. LOL! I completed two big rounds at the park, which is about 2km. I doubt i can run any further because the sun is getting hotter. Quite satisfied with myself, at least i took the first step!
After i took a bath, i began to feel hungry.... wanted to bring the kids to Fidgets but Tian said he wanted to take a nap first and asked me to go for my lunch with daddy. I was so amazed and very surprised to hear such replies from him! He told me "mummy you go eat your lunch with daddy, me and meimei nap first." I gave him a big kiss and told me we will be back very fast. Me and zhenyu then quickly rushed to Jurong point for my favourite Lailai Noodles, and to Ya Kut for bread and coffee:)
Zhenyu said very nan de both of us could came out for a meal. Felt kind of weird without the lil ps, hahaha.... We went back as soon as we finished eating. When we got home, i saw tian and xin were playing happily in my room. Jumping and laughing away :D
We bought rice for them as tea snacks, and tian ate one whole bowl. Xin's appetite was getting bad recently.... she don't eat as much as she used to be. We had a good bonding time with them and decided not to go out, as mum said she would cook tonight.
I had reading time with tian&xin, and hubby play board games with them. Princeton had reached another milestone, he could read a storybook now:) I had video it down for my own memories. He could read quite a few sentences, and i'm glad he enjoyed reading. He is learning to write in chinese characters now. He kept asking me how to write his chinese name. I told him to master his basic strokes first and i will teach him.
What we reap is what we sow. I put in my utmost effort for the LiL Ps, especially Princeton, i could felt a glow of contentment. But these doesn't always happen... I do encountered obstacles and disappointment too, when he don't behave and refuse to learn. But i never give up. I tried again the next day.
I might not have as much time and commitment for the kids next year. Therefore i hope to build up their foundation and their interest in good things.
