Today marks the 10th month of Paris bb:) She is our smiley cartoon girl, as well as my pil baobei. Last time i was worried that pil would be biased because they dotes Princeton boy so much that no words could described it. Now i felt so blessed that their LOVE for Paris was even one higher level UP!! Same goes for mum, my sister said mum pampered Paris like a gem lor.
Thank you GOD, Paris is growing well, she is a strong gal as compared to her brother. Although Princeton boy is so much healthier now... Slight cough and flu during rainy days is still inevitable:( But he could recovered very soon from it. Today after tian's phonics class, we make a trip to his childcare centre. Princeton's English teacher made special effort in helping me to find photos which they took for the students during class lesson. She also uploaded some of the music which they taught the children. While waiting for her, tian's Chinese teacher came over and have a chat with us. Chen Laoshi was one of the most experience teacher there. She was very attentive to Rong Tian, and we appreciate her frequent feedback. We were chatting about the behaviour and attitude of the children, and how she overcome their tyrannical manners. She said girls are more tamed then boys, and boys are by nature alot more mischievous. We need alot of patience and explanation in teaching them. And there must be a discipline master whom all kids are afraid of - Mrs Chandra. haha.... And yes, Princeton boy really fear of her. Chen Laoshi also said that, we cannot always find excuses for our child, eg:they are still small, they are tired/sick, they are being playful/naive. She cite me an example that, one of the tamil boy is sick, so often throw tantrum in class. But she said, even if tat boy is not sick, he also cannot sit still and listen to instructions. He would even play with his own food and other's food during lunch time, and disturb others when they were taking a bath. The parents would often find excuses to say that, no lah, he is a boy, so very playful and naive. Chen Laoshi was very firmed to the parents that, we cannot always find excuses for them, how long are u going to protect them? They can never learn.... Then i quickly asked for her view about Rong Tian. She said, Princeton is an easy kid. She told him once, and he can listen. Wow....! I was like, yes meh?? She also said, yes he do fight with friends, and he have his own group of friends also. He is a smart boy, as in when he sensed that the teachers was fuming, he would be the first one to sit down and keep quiet. She wants me to spend more time in reading stories to him, so as to build his attention span and to improve more on his focus abilities.
After chatting, Zhenyu warned me, you see? Stop giving your boy excuses. We understand that this rascal can be really out of hand. I know canning is needed, but i still hope by explaining to him, he can learn. We don't wish a good boy like him being spoilt by me:( Please buck up my dear boy.
