Unfortuntely, Princeton's cough got worse, and he began to cough non stop. His flu was getting bad:( I brought along his medication but soon his fever came along. He was sick, but he didn't threw tantrums. He was so well behaved today, which i felt very touched. I bathed him once we reached home, and quickly make him nap. Because evening he would be having his music mini concert. I told him if he still feel very unwell, its ok to skip tonight's performance. But this boy was so persistent to attend the concert.
There were 22 lessons from Jan to June. And today he did the best! Even though he was sick, he gave his best shot. I almost cried when i saw him controlling his cough and trying to put on a good smile. After he sang his solo part, he ran back happily and asked me, "mummy did i do well?" In exact words. I hugged him tight and said yes bb you are the best!
I felt very guilty. Sunday afternoon he attended his classmate birthday party, and i guessed he was tired hence he threw tantrums when we were about to leave. I punished him severely and gave him a beating. He cried badly and caused him coughing badly. That's why he ended up sick today. I shouldn't be so harsh. Perhaps i should explain in words, not so much in beating.
I felt heartwarming today. This kind of tender feeling seems like whoa! My hard work got paid off! Teacher Miss Ng even praised Princeton for his good effort.
There is something i cannot understand..... Today is a class concert, and it's a performance from the student that's why parents and relatives are invited for morale support. Yet, i could see them wearing 'very causal' or i should just say slobbish. I thought we should dress up our child for their performance and make them look good? I understand comfort is important. But there are such thing as Smart looking and comfortable clothes. At least a polo tshirt or a nice trousers. Not shorts and slippers that you wore it downstairs to kopitiam right??
I'm not trying to say i got very good dress sense. But i make sure my kids don't wear ah pek shorts or tshirt for formal occassion or joyful occassion. How well we dress is how much we respect the host. Anyway, I was indeed stunned when i saw the 2 student's outfit wore today.
