Thanks Uncle William and Aunt Sharon for the wonderful lunch & dinner! Yup, we spend the National Day together again! Yippy! Sister and siyong bought a jersey for him plus a birthday cake. Thanks so much:) He really likes the Chelsea Jersey!
Aunt Sharon, mum, sis and i played mahjong, while the men had their poker cards games. Paris took her nap, but Princeton boy wanted to join in the mahjong. He sat on my lap, and watched me play. After awhile, he decided to go watch TV with Candice ahyee. I'm happy, won abit this time round. hee... It was 5pm, and Princeton boy getting cranky. He was tired:( Yes i agreed with my uncle, cannot always use tired as an excuse. If he is tired, then he must learn to go to the sofa and lie down. He shouldn't always get grouchy whenever he is tired. Sad right? So old le, still no sign of improvement.
I do not wish to end up like a Helicopter Parents:( Because i love my children. Overprotecting only will do them harm.
This is an article to share with my friends, as well as to keep myself in reminder. It is so meaningful that i read it 10 over times. I even printed out and paste it on my massage board.
Helicopter parents have good intentions, but they need to back off sometimes & allow their children to learn how to fight their own battles. Every time anything happens to today's college aged students, mom & dad are calling & raising hell. When will these young people become adults? I know how to say/write, but come to do of it, its difficult. But I'll still try my best to be on the right track. Cheerios!
