My last off day

TOday will be my last resting day. After tat, i gona wait for three whole weeks b4 i can off again. Though is my off day, but dearie is not around to accompany me. He had to sail yesterday and today..

Yesterday i was at home the whole day with Princeton. Teach him how to read and sing song. He knows who is mummy now, and will crawl to my room to look for me. *wink* Woke up quite early this morning, as my little boy crawl into my room and call me! Though he did not say "mummy wake up", but his meaning was there. "ah! ah! heeeeya.." i woke up and smile at him, he laughed so happily.

I carried him to his playground, and he bring his storybook to me. He wanna me to read to him! I was delighted to see he is progressing everyday. This sunday, we'll be bringing him to the church service, and Princeton boy will meet some new friends. He needs interaction and cannot be always at home. Moreover he is a friendly pie, i'm sure he'll be glad to see new faces :)

My lit is watching his fav dvd now. Just now when the screen showed clap your hands, Princeton did claps his hands! haha... both me and my helper laughed.

He is one year old today. Happy birthday Princeton, we love you, and pray tat you'll be a good and healthy boy. The photos was taken when he was watching his dvd.. His attention period is quite good. He can learn and stay focus for 20mins on his rocker.

Let's be Hygenic!

Oh no, today singapore has confirmed its first case of swine flu le. Actually not bcoz of this we have to be hygenic, but some people can be really dirty, and..... smelly.

How many times do u bath a day? How many times do u brush your teeth? How long since u last changed your bedsheet? I don't think i'm a clean freak, but i really dislike dirt, ants and foul smell! Esp toilets! So, as far as possible, i try not to go to the public toilet.

For everyone of us, please.. please bath in the morning b4 u step out of the house. Please.. wash your hair. Esp for ladies with long hair, when i walked pass u, i really wanna faint. People who knew they have bad breathe, brushing alone does not help. Use Listerine.

Some ladies can smell very nice...! their perfume, wow. Their hair makes me think, wat shampoo did they use? These ppl usually have good personal hygiene. SOme guys tat i met looks so neat and tidy too. But most guys don't...

For my Princeton, i expect the floor to be clean at all times. Dearie MUST wash his hand b4 he can carry his precious. All his toys are cleaned every morning. No choice, i have to be kia si abit. When we go out, everything Princeton touches, have to be wiped. I don't care wat others say, my say counts.

Let's drink more water, and eat vitamin pills, to keep our immune system stronger! Do it for yourself, as well as for others. Coz u can be the one who is infected one day. U can be ok in the end, but ppl around u might not be as lucky as u.

One person ever told me this, : Its very irresponsible for one to get sick.

Princeton Boy, 1st year birthday celebration!

Our darling, sweet sweet tian tian celebrated his first year birthday at The Chevrons this afternoon. I was so excited about it last nite, and now its over.. Hubby and i had enjoyed the day, and so do Princeton. He simply loves the balloons!

The function was suppose to start at 11.30am. But as usual, there will be late comers.. But, i am still very happy to see them here! 迟到好过没到啊。。hee.. SOme of my friends din turn up, i'm disappointed :( But i did not call them and ask also, coz i believe they must have their reason. I don't blame them also..

We appreciated all relatives and friends for their attendance today. We thank all of them for their gifts and ang bao too. Though the response is not as good as last year, but the event today was a successful :) Princeton received alot of presents, i don't tink i would need to buy any toys in the near future. He had 5 cars altogether! omg..

Tmr is my rest day.. hubby took leave too. hee. Hope to enjoy it with our precious.

When we grow old

Had a dream last nite. My Princeton Boy grows up.. starts his working life, and he look so much like my brother. Zhenyu and i were happy.. we were strolling along the park. Relaxing. The kind of feeling is fantastic.

But, i don't wish to grow old tat fast. Though working life is bored, but i still want to treasure the moment now. Sometimes im afraid tat, wat if one day i just die? Wat will happen to my family... wat if one day im not around anymore? My insurance coverage is still not enough for my son, my hubby and my mum. I wanted to have a WILL, to settle all my assets. Just in case... so tat should anytin happen to me, hubby don't need to go through all the hassles.

When we grow old, we wanna to be independent.. i don't wish to be like some typical old folks who wants $$ from their children. I wanted to watch movie with hubby every week, to cycle every weekend, and to go to the ktv! When we grow old, i hope i can take care of my grandchildren too :)

Most importantly, when i grow old, i definately do not want to be a burden for my children. So i get myself prepared for hospitalisation insurance.

Resting Day@ home

Sunday my fav day. Slept late last nite, as we had a gathering with my ex navy friends. Dearie and i attended Junjie's litttle man full month celebration in the early afternoon. Wat a concidence, i saw two of my polymates. haha... din know we had common friends.

Jj's little man is called Lewis. Looked alike exactly, hee.. but babies look will changed. Just like Princeton look more like me now, lol. After that, danny and john came over my place and play with Princeton boy. We then proceed to Jurong Point to meet keng boon and julie. Chat at the macdonald till 11.30.. dearie feeling sick, headache and flu. So did not talk much as usual.

Today we intend to stay at home to rest. Will watch some dvd together :) that's one of our fav past time. Princeton's first year birthday celebration is coming! It will be on the 24 May sunday. 12noon sharp start buffet, so u may want to come earlier at 11.30am! There will be DVD montage also. Your pic might be up there, so keep a lookout! hee...

Hope the crowd will be as good as last year. DOn't need to buy presents ok? Just ang bao will do la, keke.. See u guys next sunday. Thank you!

Enjoyable sunday / Mother's day

Every year, sis and i will celebrate mother's day for our beloved mummy. This year, hubby esp asked my parent in laws together for a steamboat gathering. We had an enjoyable lunch, and head to Singapore Flyer after that.

Sister and siyong din join us for the SF, as they had took that ride for more than 3 times! So they waited for us at The Popeyes. Princeton had fun today... very happy, kept laughing.. Until the time when we got home at about 6pm, he made noise as he felt very sleepy le.

When we reached home, Princeton had a quick bath, and he was energised again! Watched his fav dvd for about 15mins, then he had his milk and sleep le. At home, we never on the TV, coz i believed that TV programme had many negative words/sentence which might affect baby. Even though they are not watching, but they are listening. So my poor hubby never had a chance to watch his soccer/scv.

Education DVD for babies is fine, 30mins a day is good for them. As the dvd teaches them how to read, and differentiate colours. But of course, the dvd alone is not good enough. I will show Princeton the flash cards too.. He will be a good boy, sitting down on his rocker and focus on what i read to him!

Princeton simply loves music, whenever we sing to him, he would smile and responsed. Esp songs sang by my sister! hee.... i am now learning all the children eng/chinese songs, ha! Our sweet sweet until now still can't hold his milk bottle well! oh no! I guess my helper pampered him too much. Plus I also do not wish to see him spill the milk all over his body lol. I understand that we have to let baby try, so that they will know. So i will let him hold on for a few mins everyday. keke..

My darling baby fav hobby is to throw things on the floor, and pick them up by himself, then throw them again. He never gets bored lor. He just love dangling sound! Told myself i will enrole him in a swimming lesson next month. Hope i can find a good place :)

Thrist For this Long Weekend!

Waited too long... for today. Slogged for 2weeks, finally i can rest nw till next tue :) Yu took leave also on monday and tue to accompany me. My legs are aching, and i'm yearning for a foot massage... Though it was indeed a tiring week for me, but i'm actually happy. Work is busi, but fruitful. At least nobody is there to make my life miserable.

Anyway, i don't care about these people, esp when their hair smells! haha... well, i think she don't even realise that she got body odour, and yet can complain another colleague of mine who got BO too. haiz... hope she don't read my blog, if not i think she would be soo piss off that she dropped all her hair. Actually, colleagues should help one another, we should practise peace policy. But somehow or another, don't know if she's jealous or watever shit, she just don't feel like talking to me. She started it first, so be it.

Today we went JP for dinner, bring Princeton Boy for shopping too. He likes to gai gai, likes to be in his pram, likes to see new things. Tmr, we'll be bringing him to IKEA. Wana buy him table and chair, and we'll put many many books and toys on the table!

Just now when he was at his baby cot, he held his hand on the cot handle, and stood up himself! We all laughed and praised him! He fell down several times b4 he could do that. Princeton is eating well, and sometimes he even "shit" twice a day. hee...

He is our darling baby, and because of him, me and yu will be bonded more lovely.

The Arrival of Delroy Aw Le Yu

Congrats my dear gladys, for the arrival of her little prince delroy this morning. We went over to visit them just now, and guess wat, Delroy is sooo cute! wat a great looking kid! Very fair :) Wanna carry him, but the nursery is closed. When gladys is back home, will pay them a visit again. Took some photos of delroy, but its in May's camera, hope she can upload soon, haha.

Thomas Medical is a nice place, esp when u stayed at the A Ward. I told gladys earlier on, must stay at the best ward, so that nobody can disturb us when we are resting. hee... and there's a difference in service also. I believed we deserved that ya.

Gladys is not able to attend Princeton first year old birthday, as she will still be in her confinement. But its okie girl, i'll bring Princeton over to see delroy :) Will jio May along too!

Gladys, please rest well, eat well, and most impt, dont keep standing. Leave it to jeremy. You can carry all u want after the confinement. We take care of ourselves first, then we will have the strength and energy for the kid in future. Love u gladys, muack! Brave girl.
