Bedtime stories..

Brand new week, and i thank God for a smooth, not so blue monday. It was a rainy evening, i took a cab home as dearie was on duty.

My Princeton learns how to walk steadily... with tat toy stand. haha.. he fell down, and he stood up and walk again. I kept encouraging him, i clapped when he walked a few distance. he was so happy!

After that, i brought him into my room. I read him some bible stories, and he just sit down there quietly. He crawls and lie on my lap, and then after reading a few chapters, he finally fell asleep. This is the second time he dozed off. Usually he'll just crawl around my bed, jumping around. I hope that i can read him bedtime stories every night.

A day with sister and siyong

Dearie and i woke up quite early today.. getting ready for the church service. I was indeed tired, but still managed to get up for a bath. Mum cooked our fav soup noodle for lunch :)

It had been a long time since we bring Princeton to sis's house. He fell asleep in the pram after some playtime with ah yee & ah tio. The four of us watched dvd movie 50 First Date.

We had a very nice dinner at siglap, the famous Yong Tau Foo. Princeton boy was obedient, sit in the pram quietly while we were having dinner. Sister always praise him good boy, sweet sweet baby, darling baby etc.


After dinner, we went to Parkway Parade shopping. Princeton loves to shop around, and he really likes to see things. We saw a merry go round car, and decided to let Princeton try it! This was his first ride on this kind of merry go round seat. He didn't resist, but did not laugh also.. lol. I guess he was abit tired le. But overall he still enjoy the ride, coz we could see his light smile.

By the time we went home, he had fell asleep in the pram. When we got into e car, i carried him in my arms. He was abit disturb, but continue to sleep after that. When we reached home, he was awake. Wipe him, changed him, and he started his playtime again.

Right now, he was drinking milk, after awhile i guess he will go to bed already. We had enjoyed our day, even though me and dearie had to take care of our boy without the helper. I believe we must be able to handle our child no matter where we are. So that i can bring him for overseas trip soon :p

Simply love his smile & laugher...

My best pal May and wentong came over and visit Princeton Boy just now. A pity jaden is sleepy, so not able to see him. I wanna carry jaden leh... haha.

Princeton was delighted to see the both of them. Esp when May carried him, swing him up and down. Haha... The other time when we were chatting with gladys, we were discussing wat our babies like to do most. For Delroy, eating (drinking) is the most impt. Jaden will be sleeping is the priority, and Princeton will be playing comes first! If he got ppl or things to play with, he can forget to sleep and eat.

As we gets older, our topic will always be our kids. When our kids grew up, we'll chat about our future daughter in laws. hee... oppos, i think i had look too far ahead.

Its always happy to go home after work!

Bored day at work.. only managed to close one General Insurance today. But month to date, my result is still the top. hee.. I have to thank some of my friends, who introduce their colleagues to buy from me. Esp jean... i closed 4sales! so much thanks jean! Though i don't earned any commission from selling all these insurance, but this determines my ranking for next year.

General Insurance includes Travellershield, personal accident for kids and adults as well as for elderly. Its really cheap, only 16.50 bucks per month. Our Personal Accident Plan also covered H1N1, food poisoning, dengue fever. Many of us would have bought Life/Savings Insurance already. But most of us forget to cover themselves from Personal accident. haha... so if u wanna find out more for your loves one, pls don't hesitate to call/msg me.

Today after work, i rushed home. When i opened the door, my Princeton Boy crawled all the way to me and both arms up! I put my bag down, and hug him immediately. After that i went to have a bath, he was in his walker waiting outside the bathroom for me :) My little boy miss me!

After that, he was like super glue, playing with me. He clinged so tight behind my back, playing hide and seek with me. Laughed and laughed. After dearie is back, he spend time talking to his precious boy. But i feel that my sweet sweet still perfer his mummy. hee...

It always feel so nice, so happi to go home after work. Bcoz i have a hope at home :)

Something to share..

Today i received an email from my cousin. A very meaningful story.

While a man was polishing his new car, his 4 yr old son picked up stone and scratched lines on the side of the car. In anger, the man took the child's hand and hit it many times; not realizing he was using a wrench.

At the hospital, the child lost all his fingers due to multiple fractures. When the child saw his father.....with painful eyes he asked, 'Dad when will my fingers grow back?' The man was so hurt and speechless; he went back to his car and kicked it a lot of times. Devastated by his own actions......sitting in front of that car he looked at the scratches; the child had written 'LOVE YOU DAD'.

The next day that man committed suicide. . . Anger and Love have no limits; choose the latter to have a beautiful, lovely life..... Things are to be used and people are to be loved But the problem in today's world is that, People are used and things are loved...let this year be careful to keep this thought in mind: Things are to be used, but People are to be loved ...

Be yourself....This is the only day we HAVE.

Finally its my off day!

Today, i slept till 12pm! hee... actually i can sleep even longer, but the weather was too hot. So i woke up to bath, to get ready for the day event :)

Zhenyu waited for us at Takashimaya, bcoz he had an event at town, so i thought my helper and i could took a cab down, it would be faster. But i regreted... The weather was SO hot, untill me and Princeton sweat all over. We waited for the cab for half an hour. So, this will be the last time. I rather hubby came home and fetch us. Becoz i left home in a hurry, i forgotten to bring my Taka vouchers along. Therefore my mood for the day was really bad. haiz....

We went home at 4plus, i called May and asked her wat time will be convenient for us to go over. She said maybe 8pm. We wanna go over and see little jaden! But a pity he was asleep when we reached there. So Princeton played at didi's playmat. So nice and colourful!

Tmr dearie will be going for his friend's wedding dinner. I won't be going.. coz don't want spend money to buy a new gown. So will stay at home with Princeton lor. Father's day is here, hmm... i guess Princeton's dad deserved a good meal! hee.. Will celebrate on sunday. Happy Father's day to all the daddy!

There goes my sunday outing.. ..

Today, dearie and i wanna bring Princeton out to ochard. We had everything planned, and ready to set off. We do not intend to asked our helper along, coz we should spend quality time with our boy alone at times.

Darling baby is specially obedient today, He sat beside me in the car, lying on my arms. Usually he would stand up and see cars, crawl here and there. When we reached takashimaya carpark, dearie received a msg. It was from his workplace, he was activated to go back immediately :( As we were both hungry, we went for our late lunch first, after that we wnt home le. Sad rite....? i wasn't angry, but disappointed. Dearie said he will accomapny us to come over here again this friday (my off day).

Me and Princeton went home to have a nap lol. Waiting for hubby to come home now. He must be very tired... actually we must be glad to have a job now. There are so many ppl who are unemployed now. Dearie is fortunate to have a job that paid him well. Not super high, but at least is higher than the average.

He will be home late, so i guess we will catch a movie next week le.

Growing up of Princeton.. ..

4month - Flip over with our help

5month - Able to flip on his own

6month - Able to crawl in circles

7month - Sit up on his own/ grew his first teeth

8month - crawl backward

9month - crawl forward

10month - Can do push up, haha.

11month - Able to stand up while holding on to grips

12month - Able to walk around by himself while holding on to the grips. Finally can 100% hold his own milk bottle.

And now, Princeton can stand on his own without any support for 5seconds! I'm so happy happy. Today when i came back from work, he crawl towards me so fast and kept screaming. Wonder when can i hear him calling "mummy you're back!"

My sweet sweet darling was playing underneath his table. I taught him several times to be careful, not to bump on his head. I did that by knocking on the table, and said Princeton, Kock kock, painful. And i touch my head to show him. He knew it and he had no problem in crawling underneath the table and chair now. Princeton bend up and down to avoid knocking onto the table. After that he still could show me that "i knew about it la", by knocking his head lightly on the table, and he look at me. Ahyo!

Every of my friends said that Princeton is a happy baby. But he do flare his temper at times. When he is sleepy, hungry. Sometimes when he crys coz he's hungry, i would find it very funny also. (but very angry when he crys when he's physically hurt)

He will always be my fav boy. I hope i can learn to be mother who can discipline my child such that he will respect me, and not fear me.

Home visit to see Delroy and mum Gladys :)

It was a rainy afternoon, May drove us to Gladys house as dearie was on duty. Princeton boy felt so comfortable at gladys house. He enjoyed the companion of everyone there. Seems like Princeton loves to see baby. He kept touching delroy wor... But Princeton sayang abit too rough, so we were very cautious. haha....

Delroy resemble more like his dad jeremy. He is a good boy, who loves his mum alot. Delroy can sleep well at nite, even during the afternoon nap. He is a lovely boy, and will grow up to be a man like his dad.

I am very happy that two of my best friends are a mother now. And all of us will meet up often with our little boys. We are waiting for jasline to tied her knots soon too. We had been so close friends since we were 13. And now that all of us had become a mother, we must appreciate our friendship more.

I have alot of friends, but most of them are acquaintances (hi bye friends). I have a few groups of close friends, which i classified them as quality friends. They are, my primary sch mates, jasmine, enuice, jeff, lynn, ck. Sec school gals, my poly best team friends. And not forgetting my ex navy friends. I hope to make it a point to have a gathering once a month. Be it a simple dinner, or a coffee session.

My closest soulmate, is my hubby. We started off as good friends, and then best friends. Until now, i still like his companion best. Even though we may not like the same thing always, but we have to give and take. I will be your pretty wife/ur son's good mummy, i'll make u proud.

Fantastic Terminator Salvation!

Last nite, after meeting uncle william family, dearie brought me for my fav show, Terminator Salvation. Both of us are movie lovers, esp towards action-packed shows. T1-T3 were one of our trilogy fav movies.

It was a fast pacing story and sometimes you couldn't really identify the right way on where the story goes if you did not watch T1-T3. Some people who think that the plot is messy, then they should go and rent the previous Terminators to review again. I'm a person who don't really prefer comedy, unless its as hilarious as White Chicks, Ice age I, and stephen chow's classics. Last week, we watched Night @ The Museum II, but i was disappointed lol. Part I was better definitely. Maybe i don't have that kind of humourous genes.

Next show which we are waiting will be Transformers. I just watched Part I again, hehe.. Recap first.. this is wat we do before we catch the second part of every shows. When Princeton knows how to walk, we will bring him to the theatre, but of course only watch cartoons ya. Today i was so surprised, when i heard him said, " car car (kaka)" He was pointing at the car while dearie was driving. Oh my... the first word he said was actually car. Not mummy ah?

Anyway, we had an enjoyable weekend, a fruitful one. Hope to spend every of my weekend so wonderful :)
