VERY FRUITFUL DECEMBER!

I'm back!! Been a long time since i update my blog, coz I'm really busy with all the outings! My last update was the school Zoo Outing, which was on the 10th dec fri. The next day 11th sat, we met up with my ex navy friends at Suntec City. We brought along the little Ps, and Princeton Boy had a fun evening. He could call ppl by names now, and its much clearer. He likes Uncle Danny & Uncle Boon. Heehee....

12th dec Sun, hubby brought us to his colleague's bb shower at Yishun. The bb girl reminds me of Paris newborn image. haha...! We stay for lunch then went to causeway point. Zhenyu bought a watch which he had been yearning for one year:p

14th dec Tuesday. I met up ex dbs colleague Norman. We went to CCK for breakfast @ delifrance. He is a SIA aircrew, so u can imagine how gd looking he is! heehee.... A very nice guy, a kind-hearted person i knew at my branch last time. I had my SIM enrolment in the evening. Hubby was at home taking care of the little Ps.

15th dec Wed. I met up with my secondary school senior, Deqing. We went Westmall for brunch. And a good chat with him. I was happy that he is going to get married most prob in 2012. A person who had clear direction in life. A decisive person, a man who cares for his partner. Glad to have him as my very good guy friend.

16th dec Thursday. After bringing Princeton boy to sch, we went home, prepared my precious Paris. Then went to ICA to collect her passport. Hubby promise a family trip in June 2011 next yr! I told him is either Japan or Australia. He was like..... hmm.. ok lor.

17th dec Friday. Drove maid to the Airport. Before that, i fetched my primary school mate Jasmine and her 5yrs old daughter Joelle. We had a lunch buffet at Crowne Plaza Hotel at T3.

18th dec Sat. A fun and happening day at Kallang Leisure Park! Sister and i decided to give a sushi treat for Irene's 3 princesses. Princeton behaved very well and very obedient whenever he gets to see the three jiejies. Went bowling and Princeton gets to roll the real ball! Hope to meet up with the girls again. After that, we drove to Terminal 3, Princeton was so excited to see BIG areoplanes!

19th dec Sunday. Thanks sister for the massage and facial treat at Shaw Centre. Thanks jie fu and hubby for taking care of the children at home, keke....

20th dec Monday. Princeton boy was esp happy when daddy & mummy brought him to school. I am glad he loves schooling and he loves to see his teachers and friends. Being well-liked by all the teachers, Princeton was called "boss" in school. Lol...

After breakfast with hubby, he accompanied me to the wet market. Zhenyu commented that last time i wouldn't even want to walk near the market. And now i love buying food & groceries here! haha.... i told him, i like to buy nice food for the family mah... esp cod fish and prawns! Buying all these are not cheap. My mum had been spending alot of $$$ in food. So whenever i can, i will buy instead. After bathing Paris, we brought her to Paradiz Centre. We had steamboat for lunch. After that we went Suntec City! We brought a bicycle for Princeton. He loves it!

21st dec Tuesday. We went my inlaws place for dinner. Mil cooked my fav cod fish and herbal soup for us. She brewed birdnest for her golden grandson. Princeton simply loves "Jelly".  

22st dec Wednesday. We brought Paris to IMM for a walk. I went for a foot massage, while hubby waited for me with Paris. He was reading newspaper and playing with my iphone. After that, we had our xmas shopping. Hubby enjoyed shopping alot. Be it window shopping or buying things. He wanted to buy a laptop. Still short listing now..

23rd dec Thursday. Princeton boy did not attend his school that day. Becoz dad and mummy decided to bring him and meimei to Sentosa. We hope to come again, as we had misssed the Songs of the sea, and the Universal Studio. Hubby wana take the cable car ride the next time. Lets make it happen next month! We had fun with the children. Princeton is more sensible nw, he will follow us, instead of me running after him. He is picking up well in his speech, as well as his manners. Everyday when he wake up, he will say, good morning mummy. After drinking his milk, he will say thank you mummy:) When he saw my angry face, he will come and hug me, then say sorry mummy.

24th dec Friday. We had our xmas eve at The Chevrons, together with the Bong family. Princeton and Jaden having fun at the playground, Arcade and at the bowling centre. I'm waiting for the day that Jaden is willing to hold Princeton's hand. Hope they can be very good brothers, just like their mothers!

25th dec sat. Merry xmas!!!! Big bang at Uncle William's house! Christmas feast for lunch & dinner! Majong and poker cards games all day. haha... Princeton and Ray got to entertain themselves with legos and balloons. I enjoyed such gathering, though is tiring (maid is not around), but festives seasons are meant for family bonding!

26th dec Sunday. Everyone slept till 12noon. Yawn......! Princeton was indeed tired. He slept throughout the nite. haha. We decided to stay at home and rest. Need to tune down abit.... my energy was drained for the past 2 weeks. Princeton read his books, play his puzzle and watching our wedding dvds. He was so excited when he saw our first march in. Saw many familar faces, and started calling, Aunty May! Aunty Jas! Asked me where is Uncle Bong and didi???? Lol...

Its Monday again. Zhenyu went back to work after one week of leave. I was thankful and appreciate he helped me with the housework, and taking care of Paris fully for that whole week. Thank you hubby. Sorry that i can be naggy at times, bcoz u r very forgetful. Sorry for my tempermental mood. Thank you that u always spend time with me and the children. Thank you that you love my relatives and my friends. Muack!

School Outing to The Zoo

This is the third time we joined in the school outing. The first time was at the Botanic Garden, second time was at the Goat Farm, and today we went to The Zoo!

This is also Princeton's third visit to the Singapore Zoo. He simply loves to see the animals. The outing today only focus on the Kids Zone. Princeton asked me, mummy, where ion (Lion)? where tee ger (tiger)? He din get to see the big animals today.

The first thing we did, was to have a carousel ride. The last two times when Princeton came here, he was afraid to sit on the animals. But today, he saw all his friends sitting on their fav animals, he was happy to choose one too! The first ride he chose Gorilla, the second and third ride he chose a "Big Fish" . The next event was the animal show. As it was a kids program, there were only cats & dogs doing some kids stunt :p. Hmm.. Princeton boy wasn't very amazed by the show. I guessed he preferred elephant show instead.

After that, we head to the swimming place for water play. The children were enjoying, and kept splashing water at each other. Princeton loves the companion of his friends. He could call them by their names now :) The weather was fatanstic today, it was sunny and quite cooling. The kids went crazy in the water for about 45mins, and the parents hurried off to bath them up.

Next was lunch time at KFC. Princeton had bread and mashed potatoe. While i ate a Zinger Burger. Sooooo fattening. We actually intended to take a horse ride, but its time to go back. It was about 2pm, most of the children had fall asleep. Left with Princeton and another gal, playing catching. As usual, Princeton dozed off during the bus trip.

It was a very fulfilling day. Fun and happy for Princeton, as he gets into another step of interacting with friends.

LOST MY IPHONE

In a foul mood now... i had lost my iphone at Takashimaya this evening. Been very upset about it, bcoz it was so least expected, as i am a very very careful person. I always nag at daddy (hubby) for being forgetful and careless, and now its me...:(

Daddy lost his hp 6 times before. Therefore i kept complaining that he can't get an expensive phone. Oh dear, now it happened to me. The incident happened during meal time. We had our dinner at taka foodcourt. I was feeding Princeton, and when he finished his fishball noodle, we hurried off. My last memory was i left it on the table. Normally before leaving the place, i would check if anything was left behind. But i didn't do that today. Bcoz we were too excited to go to the xmas fair.

I was happily shopping for the children's clothes, i didn't realise that my iphone wasn't with me at all. I thought i put it inside the bag. After shopping, we went for a stroll outside the building. Princeton was so happy to see the deco xmas tree. He was jumping happily. At this moment, i wanted to take a video of him using my iphone, till then i realised it was missing:(

I called my sis for help, she helped me to call M1 for temporary termination. Next week, i'm going to buy a new phone. Haiz... Last week when we were at Uncle william house, i was joking with my cousins, saying that i wished my phone could malfunctioned, so that i can upgrade it to iphone4. Gosh... God really answered my prayers huh. Wah liew....

I'm not upset about the worth of that phone. Rather, I want back my photos n videos for the last few days. I want back my contact lists, most imptly my scheduled calender..

Put the lost incident aside, i still enjoyed my shopping today. Bought a pair of siblings jacket for the little Ps. It was High5 brand , Princeton fav entertainment. Some of u may noticed that he always wear the same sweater... haha... we bought alot of sweater for him though, but the usual blue sweater seems to be more comfortable.

Paris Two months old

My precious Paris is now 2 months old. She is very responsive, and seems that she can already distinguish between familar faces and those of the stranger! Paris can hear very well, and i felt that she can recognise my voice too:) Her sense of smell is acute, she learns to recognise my smell, and that's my milk:p Bcoz whenever i said its time for milk, her eyebrows could "standup"!

Many ppl likes to talk about their babies. haha.... but i felt that we should talk TO the baby, not ABOUT the baby. LOL.... The more we talk, play and sing to them, the more they absorbs about the world around them! I talk to my Paris every night, sing her a song and chat with her. She will gurgle, and smile with glee! hehe.... This motivate me to do it more!

To be frank, i never regret to stop working. Even though i got to give up a 5digits commission. I felt very successful as a mother, bcoz i could take care of Paris fully. I wanted to see her change from a tiny helpless newborn who depends on me for everything, into a walking, talking toddler with a mind of her own. I must have the determination to continue my breastfeeding, at least for another 6 months.

We often bring Paris out, esp during weekends. We don't believe in keeping infants at home just to keep them away from bacteria hmm... however it is especially important to protect babies from germs in the first few months of life, when their immune systems are especially delicate. Visiting everyone you know, or having them come over may seem like a good idea at the time, but it can ultimately lead to the baby getting sick. So we do keep Paris away from ppl who are sick, down with flu and cough.

Paris loves car rides, just like her brother. She enjoys napping in her pram too. Paris had amazing appetite, esp at night time! Next week, we will bring her for her first vaccination. We decide to go back to our family doctor at Pioneer Mall, instead of Poly Clinic. Although it is abit cheaper at Poly Clinic, and the medication used are the same. So why do people choose to go back to the GP, or their pediatrician? Bcoz, in Poly Clinics, nurses help to do the injections for the vaccination, whereas in private clinic, the doctors do it themselves. I got friends, who travel all the way to Paragon for their child vaccination, wow... all bcoz they felt safer with a well named Pediatrician. Just like servicing a new car. During the first 3 servicing, you will feel much safer if you bring it back to the company service centre. After which, you will go back to the general workshop when your new car had been stablised.

I do my prayers every night, and i know GOD can hear me, my brother can hear me. I just hope people around me to stay healthy. Keep them safe, keep them in joy. I pray for my uncle william, for his strength and his faith. Hope he can recover fast, and let's meet up soon, we all miss you. Amen.

30 Oct @ Vivocity & 31Oct @ West Coast Plaza

The Tay Family had enjoyed ourselves for the weekend. We went to Vivocity as i wanted to go Toy-r-us. I promised Princeton that i would buy him a drum set. We got to fulfill things that we promised them, they can remember, really. Sat afternoon, Siyong brought his ipad and played with Princeton. Before he left, Princeton doesn't want to return it to ah tio. My sis, aka ah yee told Princeton that later she would bring back the ipad for him. Princeton then let go of the ipad. Siyong and sister went for church service at 3.30pm. After that, sister came over our place. But she did not bring along the ipad. The moment Princeton saw ah yee, he asked for the ipad. My sister was shocked, how come he could still remember. Princeton screamed and cried for the ipad. Told my sis, see.... u cannot break your promise. lol...

We had a hard time cooling him down. He was obviously very angry with us. I told him i would buy him new toys. We gave him biscuits, he calmed down at last. We went to Vivocity for dinner. It was very crowded at the foodcourt. I suggested to go to the restaurant, but they don't want. After eating, we went to Toy-r-us. Princeton ran untill i couldn't find him. Luckily my helper was with him. We were still hungry, so we went to have some dessert. Quite nice, i had payaya juice, as i was very thirsty! Princeton was irritating while we were at the restaurant. He was screaming and shouting. My sister was very fed up with him, and kept scolding him. The more you scold him, the more rebellious he would show to you.

We stayed till 11 plus, didn't know its so late. While walking to the carpark, we saw a man lying on the floor. I could see that he had vomited, and he was shivering. As if he was having fits. Sis and i decided to go over and take a look. There were an ang mo couple trying to call for help. The "fainted" man was alone, and all the passerby just walked pass, simply ignored. I called 995 for help. After 2mins, there were one bunch of people walking towards our directions. One of the guy came over and helped up the man who lie on the floor. He told us in china accent, this is my friend. He is ok, he is just drunk. I told him, he doesn't look ok. Then his friend replied, he is always like that when he is drunk. I can take care of him. Wah kaoz... they just walked off like this. I had called 995 already... luckily i made a disclaimer, saying i'm just a passerby, just helped to call.

While in the carpark, we could hear the sound of the sirens. Zhenyu teased and said, the ambulance that you called came already. Damn.... How would i know is a drunken.... that person really look as if he was having fits. But come to think of it, what if i'm right, and nobody cares? A life might be lost. Typical sporean will not stop and help. haiz... wat a gracious country.

SUnday, we all slept throughout the afternoon. We went West Coast Plaza for dinner. Princeton was very well-behaved. He had his dinner quietly, he listened and followed. Bcoz only me and zhenyu were around. I felt that with my mum, Princeton tend to be very bossy. Oh no.

Princeton could express himself more clearly. He could say, I love mummy. I love daddy/ah ma/ah yee/ah tio. He could say, daddy open Nani (Barney). Should be switch on lol. He could say mummy some more bag (bread)/ beekat (bsicuits). I want bubble. I want pong pong (bath).

Next year, i'm going to enroll him in some phonics courses. Hubby and i are still looking around. Hope it can bring him fun and he can learn more things. Beside his speech, Princeton picked up things very fast. You showed him once, and he could do it. Esp things got to do with music, like volin, drum and piano. Though he was just pretending to play, i do hope he had interest in it. He loves rock music too!

Quality Time with my love ones

It had been a very routine week for me, from monday to friday, i had been doing the same thing. I get to rest from 10am to 4pm. Fetch Princeton boy at 5pm, had my dinner at 6pm. Entertain and play with Princeton until 10pm. Bring Paris into my room, and take care of her for the whole night.

So weekend to me is always very very precious. I dun wanna stay at home, haha. Sat, we brought the little Ps to my sis's place for lunch, then proceed to Kallang Leisure Park. There is an indoor playground named Peek-a-boo! We brought Princeton there esp for him to enjoy. Thanks siyong for playing and entertaining the little boy :) Sister and i went for foot massage, while zhenyu helped to take care of Paris.

As usual, Princeton played until he forget about his tiredness. We went back at about 5pm... Princeton dozed off inside the car. He was so exhausted that he slept till the next morning!! Woke me up at 7.30am... yawn.....

Me and zhenyu went for mac breakfast, afterwhich he need to drive down the rented car to ubi. It is time to return the Honda Civic. I kind of miss it! hehe.... Though it was an old car, but after driving this car, i think my parking skill had improve alot! Bcoz this car had no reverse sensor!

We had a tiring sat, so decide to nap in the afternoon. Actually we planned to go to May's house in the evening, but something crop up. So we went to West Mall for dinner. Decide to have Burger King, since it had been a year i had fastfood. hee.... When i was preggy, i would vomit whenever i smell fastfood, esp Macdonalds! Dunno why...

Princeton boy loves to eat potato, so he loves fries.. BK fries are not as salty as mac, so i felt its healthier. Today i found out that Princeton loves tomato ketchup. haha!! He saw us dipping with fries, and he wana tried it too. In the end, he likes it alot.

Though bringing out the Ps are quite tedious. But we must get used to it. If we want our children to be healthy and active. We must be active too :)

颖心小公主

Our Paris can really sleep and drink. Yes... but only daytime:( She was wide awake at night, and she gets hungry every hour. YES.... every hour! I tired to give her formula milk, she would dozed off 15mins, then her almond eyes would look at me again. I tried not to carry her tat often, unless she really cried out loud. Taking care of babies really drain off my energy. Esp when there are two at home.

During weekdays, 添 is at childcare centre, i can still take a nap... But when that tyrant is back.... the whole house is in a mess. 添 kept pestering me to play, to entertain him. If 心 is asleep, i will spend quality time with 添. He loves music, everyday he wanted to watch some youtube videos playing violin, drum, piano, guitar. Then he would imitate the people playing, hee...

During daytime, 心 don't nap whole afternoon, at times she would wake up for milk and also i need to change her diaper. But luckily, my mum can help out so that i can sleep. If not i really would turn into a zombie. But today mum went to visit my grandma at NUH. So i didn't have a gd nap:( Had a bad headache now.... don't talk about maid hor.... i will not let her handle 心 yet, it's too dangerous. Perhaps another 3months. She can't even handle the brother already.. Princeton only want me to play with him lol.

After mum came back from hospital, she cooked dinner and help me fetch tian from school. After dinner, she went for her leisure ktv. Hubby OT today, and i'm alone with my two kids. Really very tedious, my back is breaking. But i told myself, 孩子是自己的，当然是自己照顾。I can't expect my mum to take care for me at night. I also can't expect her to give up her leisure time to stay at home with me. I'm lucky to have mum to oversee the children for me can le. She is quite old already, i should be giving her gd life, so 自己要辛苦一点咯。

Hopefully by Jan, Paris can sleep well during night time. Bcoz by then i will be studying already. It will be very stressful for me. God bless me with the strength and energy.

Hubby just came back from work, yeah. He helped me with the little one, while i can serve net and relax awhile. Love u daddy... i knew u r more tired than me. Tmr hubby took leave, at least someone is there to help me out. Thanks hubby.

Paris bb shower @ The Chevrons 09.10.2010

While i'm updating this blog, my bb girl Paris is sleeping on my bed soundly... I do hope she can adapt the time asap :)

Yesterday was Paris full month celebration. Just like before, we held it at The Chevrons. It was a simple event, invited our relatives and some close friends. Paris slept throughout the evening. In the end, her eyes were wide open the whole nite lol :( Breastfeeding wasn't easy at all, i got to be determine! Though it is very tiring, but the result is worth it.

Thank you all my guest who attended Paris bb shower. Thanks for the gifts too!! Hubby's relatives, who came very early... sorry to make u wait ya. I'm very happy yesterday, hee.... everything was smooth and Princeton boy was so happy, as if it was his birthday! I wanted to thank siyong for making effort for the dvd montage. We really like it alot, appreciate your help :)

Thank you my one and only DBS colleague from cck. You really surprised me, i didn't know you will come. I called her as Ah Jie, coz she is like a big sister to me,

she taught me so many stuffs ever since the first day i joined DBS. Though many of the colleagues in cck don't like me, i'm glad i had a friend like her. when i was very sick during my first preganacy, she stood by me. I will always remember her kindness.

The number of guest were not as many as compared to Princeton's bb shower two years ago. Partly bcoz hubby did not invite any of his colleagues. But overall it was a happy celebration :) Paris enjoyed in her dreamland, and Princeton just love to party!

Candice 21st birthday party @ Raffles Town Club

A very happening night for the Tan Family yesterday. It was my cousin's 21st birthday party celebration. I bought a cheongsam specially for the event.... and hubby accompany me to the salon for a hairdo.

We really enjoyed the party, and i felt very touched and blessed for Candice. A very happy go lucky girl, who seems to have zero worries. Princeton boy enjoyed the best, playing with all the sisters/brothers and with my relatives and cousins. He was in a good mood, everybody take turns to carry him.

The buffet was nice, but i could not eat much... just tried a small plate of spaghetti. I have to be on confinement food for two months. Though coming week will be Paris full month. But i still got to watch out my diet. Tmr we will be going to the studio for Paris full month photo shooting as well as to take a family photo.

Paris full month celebration will be on the 9th october, sat dinner @ The Chevrons. My invited guests please come at 7pm for a dinner buffet. I hope it will be a successful celebration just like yesterday!

Happy birthday again, Candice!

Paris one week old

My bb girl is 8 days old today. She had been drinking breastmilk and formula milk (my flow is not enough yet). My friends told me that the flow really comes in only one month later.

Paris had been drinking well, 100ml every 4hrs. She had been a good girl, sleep well throughout the day. Haha.... newborn needs about 17hrs of sleep a day. Although she would be awake during nite time, 3am - 430am, she would only whined softly... wanna ppl to carry her. The confinement lady will accompany her lol... next month will be me liao... wish me luck. haha.

Hubby had went back to work today. His boss missed him! Kept pestering him to attend a forum today, if not he would be on leave till next week, hmmp. Paris kor kor loves her alot. Everyday comes home, will climb up the baby cot to sayang meimei. It can be dangerous, either kor kor will fell down if he didn't grab well, or he might touch Paris too rough. haiz... must have adult supervising Princeton.

This morning, when Princeton left for school, he kept saying Byebye to meimei. He could say "byebye meimei". I'm so glad to see that he loves her alot. I felt more energised and i recovered faster this time round. Maybe bcoz Princeton boy gave me the strength, as i need to entertain him every evening!!

My boy had completed his alphabet learning! Though he can't say it out from A to Z. But he could recognised the letters, and knew Z is for zebra and K if for kangaroo etc.

Yesterday i went for my checkup plus changed of my wound's dressing. I took my weight. I was so delighted to see my weight, haha!!! I lost 9kg in one week time! Amazing ya.....?? Before i was preggy, i was 53kg. My last weight taken during preganacy was 62. And now, i'm back to 53kg, hurray!!

Hope i can maintain, or even lose one more kg. Will look better during the bb shower next month mah. hehe.... But no worries, i had been eating very well. 3 meals a day. Good food lol. My mum kept nagging me to eat more. I told her, as long as i had a balance diet, is good enough.

Can u guess zhenyu is carrying Princeton or Paris? hahahaha!!

The arrival of Tay Yingxin Paris

On the 9th september, at eleven am, my precious princess had arrived and joined us in this blessful family. I thanked God for giving me this gift, and the people who had share their joy and happiness with me, thank u so much.

My mum aka ah ma, had yearned for this day, her grand daughter to arrive. When i told her about my pregnancy, she was over the moon, and quickly source for a confinement lady. The many things that she had done for me, im very touched... i hope i can take care of her forever no matter what.

Hubby, who is now the sole breadwinner of the family is facing stress and pressures. Because of my health, and the risk of losing my bb, i decided to stop working since feb. He had been very supportive all these while, thanks zhenyu, i love u! Though u always like to test my patience, but i will still try my best to be tolerant, hahaha!

My baby girl is named Tay Yingxin Paris, 戴颖心。It means brings a gifted heart. Hmm... Me and zhenyu named it ourselves. The first moment i saw her, i thought she was newborn Princeton. They resembled so much! But Paris was much radiant.

Princeton was delighted to see his lit sister. He kept calling meimei....! Paris had spent her first night with us yesterday. She is my good little bb, who drink and sleep throughout the night. Infact, she din cry much, the only time i really heard her crying sound was inside the delivery ward. Paris and Princeton had very different character. My sixth sense told me, Paris is a much more obedient child, hee....

Zoo Outing in the morning/ Dinner @ Marina Oriental !

Thank you sister aka Ah yee, for making this day happened! Yes, we finally got the chance to bring Princeton Boy to the Zoo again. The last time we brought him there was 24 August last year! HAHA, almost a year ago.

We started our journey at 0930, Princeton wasn't quite warmed up yet, until he saw the entrance parrot! SLowly, he gets to see some animals, and he began to run with ah yee and ah tio. We went for the elephant show, Princeton fav one. We went to the animal farm, and had KFC for lunch! Been ages since i ate fast food.... After lunch, we brought tian tian to the swimming pool there. It was a hot afternoon, so i felt is ok to play awhile...

Princeton enjoyed his water play for 40mins, and we need to pull him out of the water... Bath him quick, and i know he was really very tired. It was 330pm by then. He needed a nap, so we decided to go home first. While sis n jie fu continue their journey. After saying gdbye to them, Princeton dozed off in the tram immediately! haha....

We reached home at about 430, bathed and had an hour nap. My whole body ached, and i was deadbeat! The alarm clock rang, hubby woke me up, and we quickly get ready to meet my uncle n aunt for a super sumptuous dinner at Marina Oriental Hotel! It was a fine dinner in buffet style. One of the top grade places i went before. Thumbs Up! Thanks uncle for spending time to celebrate zhenyu's birthday. We enjoyed alot, esp Princeton!

Today i couldn't wake up to drive hubby to camp. In the end, my helper and i took bus with Princeton to school. Luckily there were seats for us :) Tmr i will be going for my 35 weeks check up. Hope everything goes well.

Today is hubby 30th birthday. He took leave and we had a date to Marina Bay Sands. It was not crowded luckily :) This intergrated resort is rated as the world's most expensive standalone casino. Again, i'm so proud of Singapore! haha.

We had breakfast at JP delifrance, then go home washed up. We reached MBS at about 11.30am... we were at the non smoking area, playing blackjack. Although my fav is baccarat, but we didn't play that all, as the birthday boy call the shot, he preferred BJ.

We won initially.... until the dealer changed table. haiz.... Lose overall, sian. We left at 2.30pm, sob... We went to Westmall to have dim sum, as well as shop for Princeton's guitar! He saw from his dvd this music instrument, and i understood that he wanted me to buy. His body language shows everything.

We brought him an animal book too, he is familar with quite a number of animals. Some of his fav are elephants, Panda, goat, dolphin, monkey, lion etc. Trying to teach him as many animals as possible, hope he can recognise most of it soon.

Princeton is trying to talk now. So we have to be careful in our conversation, as in what we say. No vulgar words/ meanings esp. Even negative words should be avoided. There was one time when i saw a cricket, and i said YEEEH! Now when tian saw any insect with 6 legs, he would screamed YEEH!!

Daddy needs to build bond with Princeton boy... a little more effort ya:) Jiayou.....!!! These few days zhenyu had spend quality time with our boy, but hmm.... he also likes to irritate tian tian. So its really funny when u see Princeton boy asked daddy to sit at one end of the sofa, cannot sit near us. Hope this don't happen too often :p

Happy National Day

It was a happy occassion today for Singapore, yay... i am proud to stay here, and of course was touched to see the NDP every year on the tv, esp when everyone sang the national anthem and say the pledge together.

We watched the whole parade with Princeton boy. He enjoyed alot, and he understood that he gona stood still when singing the national anthem. haha.... he could put his right hand on the chest, but doesn't know how to say to pledge yet of course:p

He loves to see the marching parade, and likes to imitate. My mum bought a mini spore flag for him, and he waves along with it. Mum cooked dinner today, simply loves her cooking! So do Princeton boy.... he could eat as much as i do, serious. He also enjoyed drinking soup, and would asked for fruits after meal. He could say apple and banana, hee....

Today is also zhenyu birthday eve. Tmr we are going to the casino, as planned. Hope lady luck be with us!

Swimming at Jurong East Complex

Its a sunny sunday, gd weather for a swim! We actually intended to go for a swim yesterday with May and little Jaden, but unfortunately it rained.

After hubby came back from jogging, we drove to pioneer stadium swimming complex. Haiz.....!!! The whole swimming pool was reserved for YOG. What a letdown... We then proceed to Jurong East.

We never been there with Princeton boy before. That place was big, looks fun. But is WAY TOO CROWDED. Although the weather is hot, but it was windy... We did not stay for long, only 45mins. I could see that Princeton boy was shivering already, as the wind gets stronger. Its about 7pm in the evening le.... I carried tian and brought him to the toliet.

I was shocked when i saw the queue inside! Didn't want to wait, as i thought tian might catch a cold if i don't dry him up now. Told maid to change him and we would bath him when we reached home. Zhenyu took his shower, before i could stop him, coz i wanna hurried home. I tried calling him from outside the toliet, but he couldn't hear me. I went nearer inside, tried to shout louder.

After 15mins, he came out, and was stunt to see me outside the male toliet calling for him. I was quite fed up, coz we all waited for him. But i understand that he did not know that tian did not bath, and we were outside. Zhenyu asked me, you dont feel embarrassed standing outside the male toliet like this??? I immediately told him, whats that to be paiseh?! Not as if i walked inside wat.... For my son, i'm willing to do anything, i don't think anything is wrong. Princeton needs to go home and bath fast. I wanted to hurried him tats y.

Well, overall, tian tian enjoyed the swim, though its a short one. Next month is the Lunar 7th month, after that is my confinement month. I doubt there will be a chance to swim in the next few months.

33 weeeks pregnancy

My estimated date of delivery is drawing nearer, 20th september. My third trimester is one of the most tiresome, yet joyous times of my life as a woman. My initial weight was 53kg before preggy... as at today, my weight is 58.5kg. As compared to other ppl, i gained very little weight. But luckily the gynae ensured me that my girl's weight is ok, just right.

I begin to really feel that the baby is about to become part of my life. I hope Paris is pretty much fully developed by this point, and is only gaining size and weight to become strong and healthy. I read from books that the brain does more development during this stage, and the lungs also begin to practice for taking that first breath. I guess bcoz the baby runs out of room, movement is felt more strongly, and more frequently. Often, i feel alot of movement esp at nite.

As Paris grows day by day i feel more pressure on my bladder, and on my legs and pelvis as well. I also experience back pain as baby and abdomen grow.... This discomfort can become tiresome, i wish that the baby would come out already. haha... I tried my best to get plenty of rest and don’t stay on my feet for long periods of time.

This month, zhenyu will be very busy, as he got many duties to perform. He is giving me the car, so that i could drive Princeton to and fro to school. I woke up 6.30am everyday, had breakfast with zhenyu, then drive him to camp. Afterwhich, will come back and drive tian tian to school. Alternate days, will also drive my mum to the market and to my grandma's place.

When i was 18, my mum encouraged me to go and get a car license. She kept reminding me that, whether u r a male or a famale, whether u want to have a car or not. Just go and get it. It will be useful one day. She was right, and i'm glad i can drive :)

Experience @ Carlton Hotel

Sat supposed to meet up my poly classmates... I arranged for this outing one month ago... even reserved the seats at M hotel, but in the end the gathering was cancelled. I was disappointed, haiz... Zhenyu consoled me, asked me next time ask them to organise, heehee... But since i'm free, i don't mind organising, its not diffcult anyway:)

We decided to go for high tea since no program with others.... choosen Carlton hotel. Reached there at about 3pm, i had some coffee and cakes. Princeton boy ate alot, he loves banana n biscuits. hee.... Hubby said the varieties were quite limited. Well, i don't find it nice at all, simply no appetite. Told myself don't waste money again, i rather go for teochew porridge, my fav!

After eating, we walked around the hotel lobby, as the place looked comfortable n spacious. Princeton ran around happily too.. We sat on the sofa, relaxing. Suddenly, tian tian came to me, i realized he was pooping! Oh dear, gona find a nursery room to change his diaper asap. If not the whole lobby would smell his poop!

We looked around, couldn't find any nursery room. Only common toliets.... I asked zhenyu to ask the receptionist. If really don't have, we gota change in the car le. Surprisingly, the hotel doesn't have a changing room for bb.. But what amazed me was, the hotel staff offered us a guest room! I was really impressed by his service. He brought us to the 7th storey, opened a room for us! He waited outside, while both of us started to clear up tian tian's mess. My boy indeed poop alot!! Really alot. Luckily we could wash him in the toliet, and dry him with the towel provided. If not my whole packet of wet tissue is not going to clean him thoroughly.

We thanked the staff, and afterwhich, i wrote him a feedback form, compliment his excellent service. He could had just said sorry we do not have any nursery changing room. But he went to the extra miles, very impressive! A very gd "experience" at Carlton hotel.

We went to bugis junction for shopping. Bought a pair of sandals, and toy dog for Princeton. Shopped till my legs ached... anyway i got no stamina for shopping. I bought wat i want, then leave le. Dislike window shopping also:p

We went over my sister's place, it was at about 8pm... i'm getting hungry. And sis said she da bao porridge!! yay man, great! Tian tian was very happy to see ah yee and ah tio. Dashed to the electronic organ whenever he came to their place. Ah tio played with him, while i enjoyed my late dinner. We stayed till 10.30plus, tian tian 有的玩，忘记累了要睡觉咯... in the end, dozed off in the car.

Sunday we meet my ex navy friends at Jurong Point. We came late... in the end only joined them for dinner at Crystal Jade. Didn't really spend a good time chatting with them. Hope to meet up again soon.

Haiz... today is a bad day. I had a fall in the toliet. Damn... Clumsy.. Tmr zy going to buy the anti slip mat. My best friend is going to order online for me aso... thank God, bb is ok. I fell infront, both knees now super blueblack. I could hardly bend my legs now. I cried lol.... Couldn't rem when was the last time i cried. Sob.. I thought i'm gg to lose my Paris, phew..

Princeton new words

Finally Princeton boy is willing to open his golden mouth. He is learning and aborbing everything very quickly now. Be it good or bad, he sees and do it.

啊嬷(ah ma) is the clearest he could say. Upon hearing, my mum was sooooo delighted! Yesterday, when tian came back from school, he saw grandma then started to call non stop. haha!!! 爷爷 is the next word he could say when he saw my father inlaw. To be frank, tian tian need some motivation for him to start talking. Whatever things he asked for, we would ask him to call somebody first, heehee... Yesterday we taught him how to call 奶奶. Surprising, he could say nei nei... not very accurate, but he was trying hard. "daddy" as usual, tian call it as dada... Then wat about the most important person, Mommy??????? sad... but is ok, i will asked him to call mimi first. 阿姨 is the next word Princeton is going say it successfully.. 阿tio more difficult to pronounce, need a longer time i guessed.

Princeton loves to see photo album and start asking alot of questions. He loves to read books, see pictures and ask what colours are they. Hubby always said 我很神lol... know wat is our boy asking by watching his body language. I replied "Of course! I must make sure i know what he is thinking just like i know wat u r thinking!" hubby sweat ()...

This weekend will be a gathering time with our friends. Saturday, we will be meeting my poly friends for dinner at M hotel. Sunday will catch up with my Navy ex colleagues cum zhenyu's wedding brothers. Venue yet to be confirmed, coz all of them are driving, so anywhere is ok for them. Hee... come JP better hor, nearer to me:p

If the weather is good on sat morning, we will bring 添添 for a swim. Everytime i asked him, do u want to go swimming, he would nod his head non stop. Lets hope we all enjoy the weekend:)

Sat visit @ Gladys house/ SUnday Dim Sum lunch with Uncle William

Very glad i had a fruitful weekend. Although sometimes its good to rest and relaz at home with hubby n Princeton. But most of the time, we prefer to spend it with relatives or friends.

Me and my best friend May had planned to go over gladys house yesterday. But jasline was not free. We brought along our boys, so that they can have some playtime together. Princeton was rather tired, dozed off in the car before we reached gladys house. As usual, he was shy, quiet when he stepped into a new environment. Need some time to adapt... he was ok after awhile, and start playing toys with delroy. Mama chin's Jaden was engrossed in his fav dvd :p I wanna carry him to take a photo, but he only want mama. Next time when i go to his homeground then snap with jaden:)

We left about 5pm, went to KIA showroom... tian took his nap in the car, i sat in the car for 2hours lol. Zhenyu happily go see his car with my jie fu who came over and joined us.

Sunday, zhenyu had duty... i promised to accompany him for breakfast at 7am. In the end, i was too tired, couldn't wake up..... so sorry. Sister came over and fetch us to Raffles Town Club. We meet uncle william n aunt sharon for dim sum lunch. Princeton boy enjoyed alot, eat non stop... saw different type of dim sum made him go haywire again. Demanding boy...

We took a walk around the club. Imagine being a member there cost about 20k!! dot dot.... So work hard now, next time can enjoy like my uncle n aunt.

Sunday without zhenyu is kind of bored. But more or less i gota used to it.... Rather than he go for one week/one month sailing. Hubby told me i got to be prepared, next year he will be posted back to ship:(

Two more days, i can get to see my Paris again. Zhenyu will took leave to accompany me. Hope my girl is growing well. We will choose the ward on tuesday... i'm 31 weeks preggy now, will be due anytime in 5 weeks time. Excited, and nervous. God be with me!

Princeton's progress @ 25months 16days

Princeton is turning 26months soon. Today i received the Activity File from the school. Every 2weeks, the school will update us the progress of the child, and the varies activities that they had been doing.

The form teacher would also update me verbally on how Princeton behaved n how he coped in school. What new things have he learnt... Today, the other class teacher told me, "Your boy is our school Prince ah, 我们的小王子！" I felt abit embarrassed, thought tian did something wrong. After that, the form teacher said, 他是个人见人爱的小王子。。。I smiled and said thank you for taking care of Princeton. This is something that brightened up my day, whenever i heard teacher praised him.

I realized that tian behaved well in school, and badly at home :( Although i hoped teachers will take good care of him, but at the same time, i hoped the teachers would not pampered him. Coz there were a few times, i saw the rest of the children were sitting on the floor, but my boy was sitting on the teacher's lap!!! Everytime when i peeped at them during lesson, Princeton would be sitting very near to his favourite teacher. hmm.....

Everytime when i picked him up from school, i would try to ask the teacher, what did he learn today (if i can rem). Yesterday, teacher told me they were learning colours. Once i got home, i tried to recall his memory and taught him again. I did tat this evening again, although tian was rather tired, he tired to entertain me abit:p

Princeton could identified/point out several objects n ppl. He loves looking at photo album, and i found that its a good way of teaching him. Beside us, he could point out 爷爷，奶奶，阿姨，阿 tio,老chek (uncle William),老sim (aunt sharon), Candice 阿姨，and even my cousins, 舅舅！Princeton could identified 2 of his friend's name as well. Oh ya... and one more, Aunty MAY! He is still learning uncle bong, as he don't see him that often. Tian was mixed up between didi jaden and didi delroy:( He thought too many didi lol.)

I brought different types of dvd cartoons for him, so as to let him know the different cartoon characters. He loves Barney, and of course he could point who is baby bop n BJ too. He likes Saseme Streets, and besides Elmo, he knows big bird, cookie monster and even Oscar! I enhanced the above by buying their sticker books, and toys. Now i am introducing Winnie The Pooh. But i couldn't find any of the dvds yet...

As for Princeton speech learning... he could call "yeh yeh" , my father inlaw was soooooooo happy!! Princeton could call daddy as dada, he could say bird and goat. Hmm.... tats all. He couldnt call mummy :( sob sob....

I tried to improve on his attention span too. Like asking him to switch on/off the fan, to throw his dirty clothes/towels on the bathtub, to bring my handphone from the bedroom to the living room. I kept telling him to do things, so that he could follow, and this can makes his attention span longer.

But Princeton is getting out of hand during meal times. If there is only one dish, eg fried rice, he will quietly finished his rice. But if there are afew dishes like, fish, tofu, vege, egg, chicken etc. He would choose wat he wants to eat. Then in the end, make a mess out of the table. He no longer needs to be fed. He wanna eat by himself. We could assist him, but we are not allowed to touch his spoon.

He became very choosy towards his clothing too. In the past, whatever i wore for him, he would just 静静得穿。Now, he no longer will 笨笨地let me wear any clothes on him already. I need to shortlist afew, then he choose :( Same goes to dvd, he opened the drawer, and took out the dvd that he wants to see. Then put into the dvd player himself. Sometimes he likes to skip chapters, coz he only likes to see 主角，don't like to see 配角...

We are planning another Zoo trip. Princeton is an animal lover, i guessed. But too bad i am not, hehe.... The last time we brought him to the Zoo, he could hardly enjoyed the animal show. Now that he knows the different types of animals, i would really love to bring him there once again!

Saturday, PAYDAY!

Waited sooo long for today, haha!! Yeah, finally its hubby payday! I'm "jobless" now, so alot of things need zhenyu to settle for me lol. Hubby said, Payday is Pay Everything Day, keke....

Yesterday, zhenyu brought us to Science Centre, Sakura for dinner, took a walk there as well. Initially he was quite reluntant to bring Princeton out. If he told me, let tian rest at home, better... he is going to recover faster. Maybe i will just stay at home. In the end, his reason was, "better dont bring him out, later he very noisy n grouchy, then we very 麻烦." . I was very disappointed when i heard this. Angry as well. I told him, explained to him, as parents, we cannot allow ourselves to be afraid of such situation. We must learn how to cope, how to handle. NOT to avoid. Bcoz, Whatever you Resist, WILL persist. And its forever. It applies to every part of your life. Told him this long time ago, he forgotten again! hmmp.

My helper did not came along with us, as last few nites she didn't get enough rest, so we decided to let her rest at home. My theory is very simple, we cannot rely on maid forever. I don't want to make her feel indispensable. We should be able to handle our own child. That is why usually weekends we will spend 三人世界.

Anyway, Princeton was well behaved yesterday. We had a good dinner, and both daddy n son ate alot. Princeton ate more than me i thought. My appetite was quite bad these few days, the food i saw really makes me felt more nausea:( My girl preferred homemade food.

I really hope that Zhenyu can be more positive towards Princeton's behaviour, and spend more effort in it. If we want our child to be patient, we gona be patient first. People see that i am very impatient towards my hubby.... wah liew....pls... u all don't understand why is it so.. Alot of things he needs me to remind n remind him again. ALot of things, he needs me to repeat n repeat again. I am like a recorder, replay n replay. At times, i will get fed up lol. Some more, his hearing got abit problem, i talk to him in normal tone, he cannot hear. He needs me to talk louder. So please don't be mistaken that i am shouting at him, i am not :p

Everyday, hubby will ask me do i love him? haha... he is like a little kid. Need ppl to tell him, and assure him. Of course I love him! But i must love my children more now, hee... So at times will neglect him abit. He needs me to remind him to drink plently of water/vit C, to make sure he eats on time,to force him to have an early nite. Is my responsiblity to keep my hubby healthy :)

I told him for his coming birthday, we will go to his dream place, Intergrated Resort Casino! He was so delighted... Little things can make him happy, little things can make his day. This is what i like about him. Simple n easy to understand :)
