Planning to upgrade

Our Yingxin is getting more chubby. I simply love her smile =) She went for her 6-in-1 vaccination last Wednesday. As at 190111, she is 7.5 kg, 63 cm tall, head circumference is 40cm. The doc said she is fit and healthy.

This princess tends to be very fussy. As she could recognise faces! Strangers who carried her, she would cry over a river!! But if she didn't, your hands must be so sweet, which means Paris like you! hehe.... Paris is learning to sit on her own. Sound too fast?? Not at all, she could sit with the help of cushion le.

Last weekend, we had some fun viewing on resale flats. We went Taman Jurong to view an Executive Apartment as well as Executive Maisonette. Our flat will reach the minimum occupancy period in Oct this year. Zhenyu and i had longed to upgrade... Initially, we were thinking of renovating our current flat. Then after further discussion, we thought upgrading will be a wiser choice. Will seek my uncle's advise this Saturday. My mum preferred Executive Condominium! I told her, one step at a time.... a condo will be our third move :) Wait till I'm back in the workforce lol.

I agreed with my uncle, everyone got to move on. Upgrading our property is the best way. If only we can sell and buy at the right time. But of course what my sister advise is true too. haha... She said I'm always very impulsive. Just because i can make decision faster than her lol... I then told her, sis I'm decisive not impulsive OK... :p

I'm glad Zhenyu shared the same goal as mine. We had fun viewing all these flats. Dreaming of our new love nest. It makes me flashback the past... time really flies. We wanted to have a room for the children. Nicely renovated siblings bed.. as well as their play zone. Mum wanted a walk in wardrobe! wow..... i will do my best to fulfill her request. At most i simplified my master bedroom. So much of dreaming.... Oct is still very far lol. haha.

Last week i attended my 4th lecture, and we were bombed with 3 assignments. One group project (20%)and two individuals, 40% and 30% respectively. I had started my research during the weekends. Went to SIM library as well as woodlands library. Borrowed 8 relevant and useful books. It was thick and the wordings were so small! I haven't got the time to read through... oh no.

Time management is very important. Critical i should say... I had been spending my weekends for the children. So the only time i can do my revision will be on weekday afternoon, when Paris is sound asleep. Usually morning i will spend some quality time with her, massaging her body and her legs. Play music and show her flash cards. Paris love smiling! I love her laughter too. Sometimes she could laugh so loud that her saliva was all over her face :p

Tomorrow will be the big day for Jasline. One of my very close friend during secondary school days. We are one gang together with May as well as Gladys. haha.... Zhenyu and i are very honoured to be her Emcee for the banquet. Tonight must rehearsal a few more times! Jasline's bridal shop provided us with the Emcee gown and a coat. Zhenyu will accompany to the salon tomorrow to choose a nice hairstyle for me! Princeton will be coming too :) I asked my mum along to oversee this active boy. Hopefully he won't kept shouting mummy when we are on the stage. heehee...

Princeton attended his 2nd phonic class on Saturday. After that we drove over to Jasline's place to pick her up. Then drove to woodlands (Michael's house). The newly wed invited Princeton to roll on their wedding bed! haha... Princeton indeed jumped and roll till he almost fell off the bed lol.

Pray that i can look beautiful tmr! And no hiccups in our speech dialogue!!

Paris 4 months joy!! Princeton to the Science Centre ^^

Happy joyful 4 months to our bao bei Paris! She had been a good and cheerful girl, and i pray that she will be blessed with good health and smile everyday. She is now 58cm tall and 6.8kg! She can flip over with a little push from us. She is able to sit on a baby chair too. Her neck is rather steady and she likes to turn around looking at the surroundings. I certainly hope my Paris can be a more obedient girl, and can be a faster learner! But of course most importantly, to be healthy. I do agreed that a breastfeed baby appeared to be more radiant as well as fitter! But it doesn't mean they won't fall sick at all. Just that they recover faster than those without being breastfeed. I do hope i am able to breastfeed Paris for another month or so.

Today we met Jasline & Mic for MacDonald breakfast at Jurong Point. They date us specially to see Princeton Boy!! Tian was delighted to see them. But was rather shy, closed his eyes and hide himself. This is always his first reaction before he gets warm up. After 5-10mins, he started calling Aunty Jas &Uncle Mic. He could recognised them, as Princeton had a habit of looking at photo albums. This is how i used to thought him during the initial stage of his speech learning.  After leaving JP, we brought Tian to the Science Centre. He has been wanting to see Dinosaurs!!! I bought some documentary DVDs on that last week. He was quite timid but yet he wanted to see the big ones. We fulfilled our promise to him, and his wish is granted! This is the second time we brought Princeton to the Science Centre ever since he was 9 months old.

He was so scared the moment he saw the T-Rex! Hug his daddy real tight... We took some photos, after that we walked around the place to explore other fun thingy. We went one big round, and came back to the dinosaur place again! haha.... This time, Princeton was very ok. He started walking around smiling. Phew.... so glad he wasn't afraid anymore. Hope we can build up his guts and he can be more daring. There is a waterplay zone before the entrance, Zhenyu said we will bring the little Ps here next weekend :)

Yesterday he attended his first phonic lesson. He was so shy and afraid in the first 10 mins. But of course he did not cry. It was a short one hour lesson... There were singing, learning the animals, drawing activities. Princeton gets to know all the animals as i had taught him before, so he was able to answer the questions the teacher asked. But his pronunciation was way off. Sigh.....! This class was called the Zoo Toddler, it belongs to age 18months to 30 months. Princeton was supposed to attend the Zoo Kids Class instead, coz he reached 31 months already! But parents cannot sit in with them. So i planned to sit in with him for 4 lessons, after which will transfer him to the Kids Lesson. I am proud to say, Princeton had fantastic memory skill. He can form physical puzzle as well as the games in my iphone. He is good in the memory game too. I can't even complete as fast as he could lol. (maybe i'm lousy)

This brand new year, i do have many wishes in mind. My new year resolution will be, 1) To visit my grandma more often. To buy her favourite food whenever i can. 2.) To have more family bonding activities. 3) To cultivate my children not only in educating their knowledge, but most importantly, their morale values. Princeton had learnt to throw litters into the dustbins, to put his dirty clothes into the bathtub. He will place his used plates on the kitchen table too. 4) To do my best and to do well in my studies. 5) To have a family trip to Japan/ Australia. 6) To spend more quality time with zhenyu alone. 7) To ensure my love ones to be in good health. 8) To be in good shape and hopefully to lose abit more weight! heehee... 9) have more gathering with our friends. 10) To handle  monetary matters wisely and effectively.

Father in law birthday celebration 02 Jan 2011

Yesterday was my father-in-law's birthday. We went Jurong Point, Pioneer Wharf Restaurant for a good dinner. The food was good, just that the portion was small, not enough for zhenyu, the big eater! heehee...

Princeton boy and fil's precious Paris came along too. My fil dotes xinxin alot. The moment he saw us, he carried Paris all the way lol. Princeton was not well behaved when we reached the restaurant. He kept shouting, I want noodle, i want biscuits. Zhenyu was really pissed off with him. We scolded him, zhenyu wanted to beat him. But i told him don't spolit father's mood. During the dinner, Princeton ate his noodle and rice. Less irritating though.... But zhenyu wasn't pleased at all, kept scolding him. haiz.... His expectation for his son is very high. First thing he wants from Princeton is to have manners, ie to address people that he get to see everytime, esp elderly. This is a basic manners that children should have. Second, he wants Princeton to be quiet during meals. No talking lol... Thirdly, zhenyu hoped by staring at Princeton, our boy will behaved and stop all his nonsenses.

I agreed with hubby that Princeton needs to be disciplined. But we need to be patient... we need to focus. I want our boy to understand what is right and what is wrong. I do not wish to keep shouting at him. So most of the time, i will talk to him and make him understand. But at times, this boy really need to be caned. Last nite he refused to changed up, i took the cane out and beat his leg. He cried bitterly, then changed up reluctantly.

Last night before Princeton fell asleep, he greeted everyone he knew "gdnite". I wanted to laugh out but i didn't, as he was in a sleepy mode le. I need to closed my eyes (half closed) so that he will sleep too. Princeton was so sweet that he kissed me afew times, and said i love mummy (both in English & mandarin). He did that every night though, but last nite he added sorry mummy. Then with some bb words. I guessed he was trying to tell me he was sorry for making me angry!! I felt so touched and loved:)

@ 31months, Princeton had learnt his ABC, and 1 to 10. I will start teaching him how to tell time. He likes watches, I'm going to buy him his fav cartoon watch. Hope this will boost his interest in learning.

My school will start tmr, and the first lecture will be Econ. Pray that i can meet good project mates!
