Bonding with the children

Its Monday again..... so many things undone, as i spent my weekends fully on the children. Saturday after Princeton's phonic class, we meet Jasline and Michael for mac breakfast. Princeton was delighted to see them! But of course "act shy" initially. We then went to The Chervons for Triumph sale:) hahaha.... Thanks mic for entertaining Princeton while we were doing the shopping. After which, we went to the bowling alley. As usual, the boy loves to imitate the bowling style. Drove the couple home, and Princeton dozed off soundly. I'm glad i was able to drive him alone, even though zhenyu was at work. I went for my lecture in the afternoon, zhenyu was at home accompanying the children. He sms me saying my boy is getting out of hand, throwing tantrums, crying like crazy wanted to go playground. It was raining heavily, don't know why the dad cannot handle this rascal. He cried till he fell asleep at the main door. Poor thing...... Luckily the lecture ended early, i quickly rushed home! Haiz.... zhenyu was in a bad mood, blaming me for pampering Princeton. Sigh.
Sunday, we brought Princeton boy for a swim at The Chevrons. Had a very full lunch at Han's. Nice food, Princeton ate alot!! Fried rice, spaghetti, mushroom soup, jelly. I felt satisfied when tian can eat all kinds of food. Last week, he was sick:( Had fever, cough and flu. Whenever he fell sick, i am determined that he must get well within 3 days. I have got all types of medicines standby at home. Our family doc was very professional, he taught me many ways to handle the medicines, and to call him whenever I'm in doubt. Therefore i don't go to the doc often, waste time.... I am the doctor:p Our family doc is Doc David Hau, from My Family Clinic at Pioneer Mall. He advised me to expose many languages for the children. Esp Paris, as children's brain is like a sponge. They are able to absorb up to 5 different languages, and the amazing part is tat they don't get confused!! After 3 years old, it reduced to 3 languages.... He said, we can introduce them foreign musics like Japanese or Korean baby songs :) It will further help them in the future. Doc Hau always share his experience with us. Tell us story, gives us motivation. He once said, bonding with the children are very important. Happier children learns faster, lonely children appeared to be slower. So no matter how busy i am, how tired i can be. Weekends will be quality time with the children.

Last night, my mum finally came back from China!!! We went to fetch her at Terminal Two, and my Princeton boy came along too. He was eagered to see ah ma...... we waited till 1 am plus lol!!!! We managed to reach home at 230am!! Thanks zhenyu for making the effort to pick mummy up, i guessed he is indeed tired.... he still need to work today.

We actually planned to go Japan in May. But uncle William suggested that we will go next year instead, or when Princeton is much older and sensible. So we changed our destination to HK Disneyland. Will be booking the tickets this weekend! Must build up our immune system, so that we can enjoy this trip!

Growing up up up!

My bb Princeton is coming 33 months, and my simsim Paris is 5months old le:) I just finished feeding Paris, and she is having her sweet nap now. Had a fun time with her in the morning, giggling and laughing. Trimmed her fingernails as well as her toe nails. She started crawling backwards, and in circles. She could grab toys and hold her milk bottle (needs a little help from us)

Tomorrow will be bringing Paris for her vaccination again. Zhenyu will take time off to bring us to the clinic. Although i can bring Paris on my own, but i will choose to get the dad involved. Princeton boy is getting taller, he is taller than most of his friends. The teachers feedback to me that his appetite is good and he always finish his food. His Chinese teacher also commented that Princeton can speak in mandarin now, although it sounds "ang mo"

Yesterday, my best friend was admitted at NUH, as she vomited 8 times the night before. I accompany her for the admission, and stay till 5pm. So glad she was discharged this morning...  hope for her speedy recovery!

Mummy is going for a china tour trip this Sunday. I'm gonna miss her so much!!! March she will be going for holiday again. Hope she can enjoy to her fullest! Good news, zhenyu's leave application in May had been approved:) Hurray! He promised us to Japan Disneyland. Initially he was joking suggesting to go Genting lol... I told him, bargain some more, we will go US Disneyland. Got to look around for the best deal. We will only be bringing Princeton along, mum will help me overlook Paris at home. I'm so excited about the trip..... But i will enjoy if i can do well in my exams. So got to buck up now!! My first test was abit disappointed.... i thought i could score full marks, end up 11/15. Sob... hope my second test can see some improvement.

Our program for this weekend is fully booked. Friday meeting uncle William for dinner, to celebrate sister's birthday. Saturday meeting my poly friends at Parkway Parade, and Sunday is the BIG day for our niece:) I'm one of the jiemeis.... oppos... so old le, still wanna act young hor. haha. Hope i can be of some help that day. Got to reach the bride's house at 7am, so hope my boy can sleep well that night before.

1st Reunion dinner 290111/ 2nd Reunion dinner 310111

Every year, we will enjoy three reunion dinner. One with Uncle William Family, second will be my mum's home cook feast, and eve of cny with my in laws. This year, we have one additional member to join us in this wonderful festive!

We arrived at about 6.30pm at uncle William's place. As Princeton did not had his nap, he was rather cranky and grouchy. I was at school early afternoon, and hubby was supposed to make the boy sleep, but mission failed. Tian only wanna sleep with me lol... We had very nice food and i like the glutinous rice best! Princeton finished the whole bowl of shark fins soup! After dinner, i began to feel my left eye itched. I thought my eye lashes went in, so i kept on rubbing it. Until i felt a lump.... then I went to the mirror and was shocked to see a big swollen bump on it:( My allergy towards seafood is getting from bad to worse. It used to be on the surroundings of my mouth or ear. There was once, my last finger gets swollen. This time it spreads to my eyes area. *Cry* I put on my sunglasses, as it looks rather infectious. haha.... But that doesn't stop me from having the desserts! We had peanut soup, together with nian gao/ yum cakes and pumpkin cakes. Yummy....! All these are my favourite. No wonder i put on weight so fast ya?? Heehee... Thanks uncle & aunt for the preparation and gathering:) Hope you guys have fun in Taiwan! I wondered when will be our turn for a family trip..... dotdot...

Yesterday, we had the second round of reunion dinner at home, with sis and siyong. Mum and i went to the market and grab a whole lot of food. As if we were going to prepare for ten people! Mum always make an effort to cook nice and healthy food for us. She never failed to brew me tonic every month:) This makes me love her more!!! Even though I'm jobless now, I'm still very willing to pay for her hand phone bill, as well as to top up her ezlink every month. I'm not those that only care for children and forget about my parents. Coz i seen many people, they can save alot for the child, but never bothered about giving $$ to their parents/ grandparents.

Our first day of CNY is as packed as last year. As usual, we got to rush to many places. We will set off at 9.30am. First place to go, The Garden Of Remembrance. To pay a visit of papa and ah boy. After that, we will go to my         jiujiu's place. Then hopefully we can reach my grandma's house before 12. We will have lunch with grandma, and need to fetch my in laws at 1.30pm sharp. We will aim to reach Tampines at 2pm for the Mega CNY gathering. After which, we will head to Kam po's house, which will be our last stop:) Felt a bit guilty, as we only visited them once a year. Pray that both the elderly can stay healthy and prosperous.

Hope everyone can enjoy this happy occasion, and the Tay Family hereby wish all my friends and relatives a fantastic and smooth 2011!
