Got a new iphone4

Princeton Tay had always been playing with my iphone3. Dropped several times, and finally that screen had died on me. It became so blurred that i couldn't see any message. Zhenyu agreed to buy me a new phone. Thanks hubby! We went to M1 outlet at westmall yesterday. Brought the little Ps along too of course :) Tian and xin enjoyed "gai gai", laughing and smiling throughout the whole day. They don't seems to be tired.. children so xinfu lol.

My exams starting this wed... and guessed what, i just read through the notes only. So dead right? I'm selecting the topics to read, not enough time to study everything. May lady luck be with me... my last paper is on the 4th of May, after that holiday all the way till 1st July! Yippee! Many things to accomplish for these 2 months. First thing is to toilet trained this rascal! Had been wetting my bed a few times! 3 years old le, still dunno how to go toilet. Sighed....

Second thing is to planned Princeton 3years old birthday party at school. Got to arrange the date and timing with the form teacher. Third thing is to make an effort to visit my grandma more often... She is very sick now, heard from my mum she got no appetite at all. Very heartache. sad.

Just finished trimming Paris finger/toe nails. Feed her with cereals and now she is swinging herself in the walker. Later going to make her sleep. Since the little Ps were born, i am the only one who trimmed their nails, and cleansed their ears. I cannot expect mum or maid to do that. I just think its the parents job.

Yesterday at Westmall, Dai Zhenyu really pissed me off. We were leaving the place, as we walk passed Popular, and Tian said he wanna buy puzzles. So i told zy spared me 10 mins, i grabbed and go. The dad agreed, but suggested that he and my mum together with maid and Paris will go and take the car first, then wait for us at the waiting area (b1), where he dropped us earlier on. I agreed, and brought tian in to choose the puzzles.

We spent less than ten mins, and luckily there was no queue. Very quickly, we took the lift down to B1, and was surprised that they have not reach the waiting area. We waited and waited. 20mins!! I began to be worried. My hp was not with me, bcoz it had been transferred to the new iphone4, and was with zhenyu. I really hope nothing bad had happened. Just then, an army boy teenager waited beside us. I got no choice but to borrow his hp to make a call. I called my mum, and to my astonish, they are waiting at the carpark lot!!! Which means DAI ZHENYU expect ME to bring Princeton around the B1 carpark to look for them??!

I was very furious, asked him, i thought you said wait at the waiting area where you dropped us off earlier?! He denied and said No, he said wait for us at the carpark lot at B1. I was like !!!!! Common sense right? How could you expect us to walk around the car park to find the car? WTH. He apologised later and said it was miscommunication. Which i thought its damn silly.

Princeton boy said Mummy, can no shout. shhh.. Then i let it go. But come to think of it, luckily not something "bad" happened. he promised no such stupid thing will happen again.

Paris fully recovery!

Thank God, thank you for answering my prayers. My Paris had fully recovered from her cough as well as flu. We brought her back to tmc this morning for a review. Waited for 3 hours!! The PD did a thorough check to hear her lungs, and everything was fine:) It was a fast recovery the pd said. Normally it would take weeks. I'm so relieved that she doesn't need to go through the phlegm suction process. Phew... this will be the last time such thing can happened.

Paris was very cheerful and responsive these few days. Seems like she could understand what we said! When we asked her to come over, she would swing herself quickly in her walker. While i registered her at the clinic, the nurses there were very busy. But suddenly the 3 of them stop their work, and say hi to Paris! One of them touched her cheeks and said she's very chubby. haha.... Paris giggled back to them, and they praised her for being beautiful. (*happy) A pity she had no hair, lol!

After the checkup, zhenyu brought me to Beach Road food centre. We had very nice Prawn ribs noodles. wow... Been a long time since i ate so spicy stuffs. I used to eat hot and spicy food, but ever since i had the little Ps, i cut down alot. Paris made us proud... The uncles and aunties at the food centre, all looked at her and smiled.. One of the auntie kept praising her for being pretty. i told sister about it, she said yay of course. Sis then said I am blessed to have such beautiful children. Thank GOd for that.

My mum brought tian for his phonics lesson this morning. And after his class ended. He told ah ma that he wanted to go MacDonald's for big breakfast. My mum brought him there, and told me that he finished the whole thing! wow... big eater like daddy ya. Princeton boy make me laughed so happily just now. P: mummy you see, (he pointed at meimei's leg) ME: Yes bb, thats meimei's leg. P: No mummy, is meimei's knees. Me: ! ohhh ok.
P: Meimei, u cannot touch puzzles, go play toys!
Me: Princeton, go get some toys for meimei. (He quickly grab a ball for Paris)
P: Mummy you see, meimei naughty, eat my puzzles!
Me: You go take meimei's water bottle let her drink. (He said, meimei no thirsty, no want water) I was stunned?!

Princeton's learning skill is like a sponge now. Everything he hear and everything he sees, he remembers and he follows. That day he stepped on mud, i then said, alamak.... after that when unexpected things happened, he would said, ohhh alamak.. Funny boy. We must be very careful in the words we used. Bcoz, at times we used singlish, la here and aiyo there.

Zhenyu is accompanying the little Ps now, while i take some time to serve the net. haha.. He is a good husband, a good father i must admit. He told me that he got lots of program waiting for us to enjoy. Once i finished my exams, he is going to bring the children to THE ZOO, (again). haha. We will visit the Universal Studio as well. Since no overseas trip, hubby will plan the spore itinerary lol.

Paris down with bronchitis :(

Thank God, Princeton boy had recovered from his fever which comes together with cough and flu. But unfortunately, these had been spread to Paris.... my poor little 心心。。I understand from the doctor that there are different cases of bronchities. Infants/toddlers usually get bronchiolities, which involves the smaller airways and causes symptoms similar to asthma. We were relieved to know that Paris wasn't suffering from that... phew... what she had was acute bronchitis. This is caused by a cold or influenza (flu). That's why i never want them to sleep in an air-con room. But still it happened :(

We did the right thing by bringing Paris to the TMC on time. She had an xray, and needs to be on inhaling medication now. She was my brave girl, didn't cry and shout like a baby. She was afraid initially, but was okay when her brother sing and dance to her. Princeton was encouraging her, he would cheer Paris on by saying 妹妹加油! This is siblings bonding.

Paris needs to recover by Saturday. We got to bring her back for another checkup, to hear if her lungs are still with phlegm. If yes, then she got to be admitted. Private hospital very kiasu one, even though not very serious also want us to get admitted. I will do everything to ensure Paris speedy recovery.

My mum was very upset for Paris condition. I blamed myself my neglecting Paris too. The maid must had let her cried for so long, and end up coughing. But come to think about it, i cannot blame the maid, i cannot blame my mum. I can only blame myself. Yes, mum was suppose to oversee for me. Yes, maid was suppose to take good care of her. BUT, so what?! When things happened, don't point fingers. When the children fall sick, ONLY the parents are at fault. (Whether the parents are working, or staying at home) NO ONE is obligated to ensure your children's health. We ourselves got to ensure. Our parents, or parents in laws only help us in overseeing,  or give us a helping hand. Actually, they are suppose to play with their grandchildren only. Don't expect parents/maid to help you from head to toe.

My mil once offered to help me in taking care of Princeton and Paris while i was preggy. But i rejected her offer. Because i wanted to see the little Ps every night, i wanted to tight them to sleep and feel them every night.

This incident had upset Zhenyu alot. He doted this princess so much. He even emphasized again, can i stay at home and take good care of them. Forget about working! I told hubby that I'm sorry Paris ended up so sick. I promise i will ensure the children's health. Let me work and let us strive with determination.

Weekend outing with children!

Last weekend, we brought the little ones to visit my buddy Keng boon newborn bb boy! Keng boon was my ex navy friend. He served Navy for his National Service, and i was the officer who enrolled him:) We even had a friendship date, 18 November , haha... I used to live a street across his block. And we would meet every morning and took bus to camp. Keng boon would wait for me to knock off and go home together. He is my buddy, a true friend. Beside him, we have got danny, junjie and john. We are one "gang" wahaha...!  I'm glad we still keep in touch after so many years. Though we got our own commitment, but still we try to meet up once in a while.

Princeton was delighted to see the newborn bb. He still remember Uncle Boon :) Keng boon's sister said Paris looks like me! But she look rather boyish. lol.... Awaiting their bb shower. After leaving Mount E, we went to sis's house. Princeton and Paris took a short nap there. While me and zhenyu can relax, hee....

Sunday, we were suppose to attend church service. But unfortunately, Princeton boy was down with fever. He slept till 11am, and hubby decide to bring them out to Vivocity. Dunno wats wrong with zhenyu, he missed the turn to AYE, therefore we head to PIE stevens road. Then decided to go for Dim Sum at Shaw Centre. The food  there was indeed good, Uncle William recommended:) Princeton was eating happily too. We shopped around and went home around 5pm. By then Princeton had dozed off...

Midnight, Princeton woke me up, "mummy, head pain.", his fever shoot up to 38.7! I quickly let him had medicine, and he got back to sleep again. Monday, we brought him to see doctor, Paris went for her vaccination too. I'm so proud to have a brave boy. He did not whine and cry, but sit quietly for the doctor to examine him. Princeton boy had grown up:)

Tuesday he had recovered, but i intended to bring him out instead. We went Jurong Point, wanting to watch a movie, when my cousin Nelson called to say he wanted to come over and see tian. They both had a good time at Kiddy Palace and Arcade, haha...

Wednesday, Princeton went back to school. At last, i could go for my foot massage.... did not sleep well for the past few nights. Woke up every half an hour to touch tian's forehead. Zhenyu and i picked tian up at 6pm. His form teacher feedback to me that Princeton finished his lunch, and had a good nap. He was okay, and asked me not to worry. Princeton said "byebye everybody!" Zhenyu and i laughed, in the past, he could only say byebye.

Its another packed weekend ahead. Sat, we are going to attend Sihui's (zhenyu's cousin) bb shower. Sunday, we will attend the church service, and Uncle William's house for lunch. Happy gathering!

My little Ps

To bring them out had been an enjoyment for us. Usually we don't bring our helper along, unless is to Uncle William's house or my friend's place for gathering. Monday, we brought the little Ps to the airport to fetch Ah Ma. They enjoyed the cooling place so much, and Princeton began to stroll Paris all around the place. haha... Fortunately, Princeton had abit sense of direction to bring meimei safely. Although they are only two age differences,Princeton could shower his love for his little sister and enjoy her companion. I could see that they find each other a pleasure to experience fun together:) Tian consistently will be talking to meimei while solving his puzzles, and both of them can giggled real loud.

My friend Teck Keng came over to help me jump start my car. Luckily the battery was OK after recharging. Thanks so much TK! I appreciate your help and your thoughtfulness. You had always been a very nice friend.

Sister came over my place for homemade porridge. I prepared especially for my nephew: Cod fish and lean meat, healthy! We spend time making fun of xinxin, haha... We had a nice chat:) Sis shared with me many things. A husband is a Protector for the family. His duties not only to ensure food and safety, he must also do everything to protect his wife & his children from any harm (be it physical or verbal mistreatment). If the husband cannot fulfill this part, then this man is not worth to be married to. I agreed with my sister, and she continued saying that, a Wife duty is a Helper. We provide all the help that our man needs, and give each other the utmost support. A man's first priority must always be his wife & children. The rest will come in later, that include his own parents. I felt that if my husband's main focus is not the me and my little Ps, rather than gambling/smoking, or his leisure time sleeping and outings with his friends. Then this man really don't worth woman bearing children for him. (kick him out and go fly kite)

Sister also emphasized that woman should not be "too independent". In certain situation, we got to act blur and shows that we r unsure don't know how to do it. Man, who are always very ego, will prove that they can help us, and get the things done. If we show ourselves so independent in front of the Man. They will take it that we don't need them, and we can settle everything by ourselves, which is NOT right. That is why every trivial matter i get Zhenyu to settle, heehee... He always said "Don't tekan me leh... 哎哟,你没有我不行咯。。。 but still he will do it willingly. But inside him, he felt very satisfied and was thinking, "Wow! My wife needs me, I am very capable." wahaha....!!! Bingo! This is what we want.

Man always need to be the one who makes the decision. Because, they are the head of the family. Although zhenyu will 顺着我,  but i will always discuss with him. Because whatever he agreed, he bears the consequences. No such thing as 随便,看你的。These words only comes from the wife. Esp things that involves the children.

Never do everything, never act smart and do the husband's job. Some things are just meant for them. Do not cultivate the Man to be lazy and in turn rely on the woman. (this will only make them very useless)

Yesterday i told hubby that the church had moved from expo to Suntec, we can attend the children church with the little Ps from this weekend onwards! He agreed and said hopefully Tian and Xin will like it.

Can't wait for the weekends to come!! We had all plans for the little ones!

MIL birthday/ Princeton first movie experience

Yesterday, which was Saturday, we had a simple celebration for my mother-in law. Went Bonia boutique to choose a handbag for her. She was over the moon, I'm glad she likes the present we bought for her every year. Last year i bought her a Swatch.
We got a Prima Deli Durian cake. Should have bought 1kg instead, very nice, haha. Tian had some "jelly" for dessert again. lol...

This morning, after Princeton's phonic class, we head to Jurong Point for a quick lunch and movie! We had been wanting to bring tian for a real movie experience. The whole theatre was dark and Princeton was scared! He wept and was terrified... we kept assuring him that everything was OK. He hugged me so tight. The show started on time, and tian began to focus and everything was fine then:) Zhenyu was amazed! He thought that less than 15mins n we gotta leave. I told hubby, please give your children some confidence, be positive. And i was right, my boy sat still quietly throughout the 95mins. Although he dozed off during the last part... haha. He was indeed tired, as he woke up at 7.30am.

Zhenyu made a comment saying that it was so perfect for me to stay at home. He was glad to see Princeton's progress and he thanked me for that. *wink*

Hubby and i took the little Ps for a walk around our neighbourhood this evening. After that we had some playtime with them. We were dazzled by the sentences tian was able to speak. "Meimei stop crying, no touch the puzzles." and another was "mummy you see, meimei also shout, cannot shout, shhhh." I burst out laughing. I must video it down when i got the chance.

Tomorrow, we will be going to the airport to fetch my mum back!!! Zhenyu took leave specially, and the litle Ps will be going to fetch ah ma together =)Oh!!! Finally!! We all missed her so much. We will try to bring the children for as much outing as possible. The more they see, the more they can learn. Of course spending quality time with them at home is a must do routine as well.

My lovable Ps

By the way, my cooking on Friday succeeded! Yahoo! My sister was quite impressed for the outcome, heehee... Hubby drank half a pot of soup:) And siyong wiped out the last part. I got 7/10 from them, *happy*.

My Parents-in-Law

I am always grateful and appreciate for the things my in laws had given to us. Especially to the little Ps. I remembered there was an incident happened long time ago, when Princeton was dropped from the sarong, because of their negligence. Anyway, i wouldn't have left my children there without my presence. Haiz...therefore in the future, i must be around to prevent any future conflicts.

Mother-in law cooks good food for us every week. We love her tonic soup! She would spend effort to buy high quality bird nest for me and tian. Yesterday she brewed bird nest ginseng for me again. Though I'm not preggy, she still wants me to be fit and healthy. Thanks so much mother!
She would brew a separate share for tian, which include almond and Cordyceps.  It Nourishes the kidneys and lungs, enhances vitality and improves health. Princeton boy called it "Jelly". Very ex Jelly. haha. Is good for children, as it is a natural form of antibiotics. I hate to let my children to eat western medicines. I believe more in Chinese medicines.

That's why Tian now is much stronger with better immune system. Influenced by my mil and my mum, i often visit Chinese medical hall. Another favourite ingredients they love to include in as a soup ingredients is codonopsis root, which is also known as Dang Shen. It is definitely worth it to invest in all these herbs, rather than we save all the money in the bank for hospital bills (touch wood) or visit the doctor expenses.

Tomorrow we will be celebrating her birthday. She do not want us to spend too extravagant, she preferred to cook nice dishes for us:)We will buy a bag for her, as well as a birthday cake!Next time, i must also love my daughter in law so much. haha...

Zhenyu might have OT tonight.... sister and siyong coming back for dinner. And guess what...? I'll be cooking! erm... don't expect Buddha jump over the wall hor. heehee.. Anyway cooking simple dishes is not difficult, just that my mum loves to cook for us, so 轮不到我咯。And i also believe all woman somehow or rather can cook, just a matter of 好吃不好吃。。。

okie, got to bring xinxin down for a walk, she could stand by holding on to the sofa:) So proud of her, jiayou my precious!!I will start cooking at 3pm! Wish me luck :p
