Sat (kyrine bb shower) Sun (Family Dinner)

It's a fun weekend again. Princeton as usual had his phonics class on sat. We had a friend whose son happened to be in the same class as Princeton. So i guess every Saturday, we all can have breakfast together. They are of the same age, but Golden is one month older.

We attended baby Kyrine first month celebration. We were the first guest who reached. haha... it was pouring that afternoon, so the crowd came in slow. Princeton boy was eagered to see baby Kyrine. He had been bugging me since that morning. "mummy i want go baby shower" I told him, yes we are going after your "small school". When we reached Guilin View, Tian asked, mummy why no baby shower? Lol.... i then told him baby Kyrine haven come down, she is drinking milk upstairs. When finally he saw the one month old baby, he can't wait to take photos with her. haha... i think he loves babies....! So we settled down to have lunch. Princeton boy was eating fried rice, and there he asked again: mummy, where is baby shower?? i wan see baby shower. Then i told him very patiently, this place is a baby shower celebration,baby Kyrine is one month old. This party is called baby shower. He gave me a blurred look, and his action goes: no mummy, baby shower is baby pong pong. Aiyo... me and zhenyu burst out laughing!

My best friend May, was carrying her very big tummy, chasing little Jaden around the place. As Jaden wanted to go to the swimming pool, May tried hard to stop him as it was still raining. Tian saw Jaden crying, he whispered to me: mummy, tell didi cannot go swimming, raining. He was observing other's behaviour:p

Among my closed friend, Tian considered the eldest. So we expect he will set a good example as an elder brother. This coming Friday, we will be holding a mega birthday party in school for Princeton. I brought him to Jurong Point and he chose himself a birthday cake! A dinosaur cake lol. 

Sunday Uncle william treated us dinner at Kam Boat. Nice food, nice place. Princeton was happy to receive his first birthday present this year from Uncle William! It was a water gun, he kept pestering me to go swimming yesterday, so that he can play with it. haha..3 years old already, i do hope he can be more obedient, don't bully meimei that often. hee...I'm teaching him how to write/draw, it's tough but not impossible. I always take Josephine's son Jianrong as a benchmark. Jainrong is 6months older than tian, he could draw shapes very well and could tell a story from a picture:) Way to go Princeton boy!

Vesak Day @ Chinese Garden 17052011

Zhenyu suggested to bring us to Chinese Garden yesterday, to let the children enjoyed the green scenery as well as to see fishes and tortoises :) Princeton favourite's!

The weather was quite hot when we just arrived. But very soon it turned cloudy and the sun was gone! God blessed =) We brought tian to feed the tortoises and he enjoyed so much. He loves animals since he was very young. As at now, he could name almost all the 'basic' animals including hippopotamus and rhinoceros. More to improve on his pronunciation though, esp his Mandarin. Teachers always said he speaks like an ang mo, lol. 

I guessed he played too much, skipped his nap again yesterday. He didn't sleep well the whole of last night:( Kept complaining stomachache, because he didn't poo the day before. Poor boy... gastric flu i thought... applied the oil on him, massage his back the whole night. 5.30am, he woke me up and said Good morning mummy, wake up. I did not sleep at all! Gosh... I on his favourite cartoon Incredible, he watched till 7am, then i start to prepare him for school. Hubby and i brought him for big breakfast at MacDonald. When we reached school, zhenyu told the teachers about tian's stomachache, waking up esp early today. So that they can pay more attention to him. Who koes at around 2.30pm, his Chinese teachers called up and said tian was having fever 38.8:( We were having lunch at Alexandra Market, but quickly rushed to school and pick him up. I gave him the medicine once we got home. He even requested to put on the fever patch! It reminds me when he was a baby, putting on these was a big headache for us! After 2hours, the fever was subsided... i prayed hard it wont come back again!

While I'm typing this blog and serving net, tian was watching his dvd while waiting for me. He can be very mischievous, but most of the times he listens and he learns from mistakes. I do hope he can be obedient and sensible even when he grows up. Keep it up my Princeton boy.  

Stay at home sunday

I had been having fever, up and down since Friday night. Shivering in cold sweat... severed headache. I very very seldom suffer from headache. Dunno what's happening. Spinning heads, wanted to vomit, lost of appetite. The condition gets worse yesterday afternoon, when we came back from Princeton's ex classmate house. I felt really nausea and sick... felt very worried as i got a family dinner in the evening.

Forced Princeton boy to nap, so that i can take a short nap too. Pop 2 more panadols in, and luckily i felt much better when i woke up. Able to attend with my little Ps :) They are both well behaved last evening. Good mood. 

This morning, the fever came back again. Causing me to have severed headache. We actually wanted to bring the little Ps out for shopping, but i can't even stand long. In the end, hubby decided to buy the lunch back, and i can took a nap. Stay at home Sunday is relaxing :) Daddy accompany the little ones to play puzzles as well as watching the kids DVDs. Interacting with the children is very important, that is why we never like to on the TV, because if we do, we will just be watching the TV program, and less talking with the children. This is when they don't learn much, and becomes slower. 

I really hope my condition can get better tomorrow because hubby took leave specially. Love my Princeton and Paris so much, their smile, their laughter, their playfulness,etc. Princeton boy watched dvd till halfway, and he gets very emotional. He sobbed sadly, and i went over to him and asked him what happened? He hugged me and said "i don't want mummy to die.. then he cried again. LOL! The DVD [UP], showed that the old lady aged and passed away, and tian could get upset and he knew that one day i will die?? Oh my... My bb boy really grow up already :)

 

  

Happy Mother's day at The Zoo Outing!

The weather was burning hot.... the whole day! But at least quite windy at The Zoo. Princeton boy 4th time experience, and he still loves it! He could name most of the animals he saw, and could even differentiate a leopard and a tiger. So proud of him :) Paris is 8months old tmr! She had her first swimming moments with her dad and her brother. haha... Every time i brought Princeton here, i saw him growing, from a very timid baby, who are afraid of the big splash, to a less timid small boy who loves to play with water, and to a toddler who knows how to enjoy the swimming pool! I do hope to send him for a real swimming lesson soon. 

The little ones had the Animal Carousel rides too! Paris was laughing all the way when the ride goes up and down. So funny!! We actually intend to let Princeton to try on the Pony ride, but He wasn't ready yet, told me "no.. next time (at least not no.... later...) heehee. 

As usual, Princeton boy knocked out towards the end of the trip. Simply just dozed off on my lap. Daddy got to carry him all the way to the carpark, just like old times. Zhenyu was strong enough lol.. as tian was 16kg!! 

We left the place around 3.45pm, took our nap at 530 to 7pm, then i woke tian up. Zhenyu told me, no matter how many times we been to The Zoo, we will never get tired of it, so long we see the children is happy and enjoying. I felt relieved to hear that from him. To love my little Ps is the biggest Mother's day present for me. Thanks hubby! Sorry you got to miss your Chelsea Match later, because accompanying the children is more important OK? Muacks.

Mother & son's outing

Zhenyu had duty last night, so today he was rather tired and needed a nap when he came back about 9plus. I brought Princeton boy for mac breakfast! We met May, wentong, jaden and May's sister at Pioneer Mall. Princeton boy said "mummy, hungry..." so i went to buy big breakfast for him first. Since Princeton was much younger(around 18months), he could sit quietly while waiting for me to buy food back. And of course this is not the first time i brought him out for shopping on my own. I'm glad i could drive him independently, so even though Zhenyu and Paris were to stay at home, i could still bring him out, anywhere, any distance.

Halfway to IMM, my mum called from my grandma's place. She said her throat was very dry, getting headache. So i picked her up first, and she wanted to cast her vote at Nanyang CC. I drove her there. After that i send her home. Princeton boy saw the car was driving towards the home direction, he asked " Mummy, i wan go IIM(IMM), don't want go home" I told him, ah ma is going home, we go gaigai later. Then he said, OK. Haha....

Long queue at IMM carpark. We waited quite some time for a lot. I brought a pram along, just in case tian needed to nap. We went to the amusement park cum arcade, after that Princeton boy asked, can play water? He still remembered there's a water playground here =) I wasn't prepared for this, but he was so enthusiastic.. So we went to the supermarket, and i bought a bath towel, heehee.... and there he goes.....! splash splash. Was screaming happily! I was all wet too... wanna take photos of him. He played around 30mins, then i bath him and changed him up. Then he said he wanted to play slides at the playground. It was soooo hot! haiz.... but still he was enjoying. My wet clothes becomes dry within 15mins!

Water parade time when we settled at the food court. Bought him rice with egg,tofu and potatoes. After eating, he became even more energetic. Gosh.... I'm so shag out lor. I told him its time to go fetch daddy, then he agreed to leave.

Had a great time with my son :) Both of us had our nap from 530 to 730. wahaha.... Tmr, we are going to The Zoo! yahoo!!! I hope my little Ps can enjoy!

Princeton one more month to his 3rd birthday!

Watching him grew up day by day, getting taller everyday, speaking in longer sentences each day, makes me feel that, everything is worth it. I wanted to jot down every of his milestone, because one day when i turned senile, i would still have a blog/diary to recall back.

I love taking their photos:) i love taking family photos. I love taking PHOTOS! Especially during group outings. People thought taking photos are meant for others to see. But actually is meant for us to see when we grow old. My mum used to take quite a number of photos when we were young. She often bring us out, even though she's alone.

Today while we were waiting for bus to school, a bus came, and Princeton said: Mummy, this one 181, 185 no come? I said have to wait awhile. He said OK, no tasi (taxi), must keep mani($). I was so stunned!!! I guess he remembered i told him must save/keep money, to buy milk and diaper, to buy rice and noodles. He could recognised $2, $5 and $10 notes. $50 not yet... haha. but when i asked him to chose between notes and coins, he chose coins!! Because he needs it to sit his "Korkor bear"

Every night when i pat him to sleep, at times i will get quite emotion, as i thought these sweet moments will not last. I will always look forward watching DVDs with him (even though i watched it like 100 times). He could tell me what's the next scene! I'm yearn to read him bedtime story every night. I'm willing to bring him out to have Kidd rides every weekend! There are so much things i wanted to experience with him. I do hope one day he can read me a bedtime story instead :)

Every parents got a different way of teaching their children. But one way never goes wrong. 不打不成才 。And Zhenyu already warned me, the children's behaviour/ outcome for their personality, relates directly to the parents. If you don't teach now, next time others will slap our child on our behalf, then we can only feel ashamed. 天啊！做人难，做父母更难。。

Yesterday Princeton and Paris were playing Lego. Suddenly, Princeton smashed the Lego's down on Paris's direction. It hit her head and she cried out so loud. I did smack on Princeton's hand and make him apologised to meimei. He did, but tonight, he bound to play tricks on his sister again. Haiz!! Poor meimei, hugs..

Of course most of the time, he dote his cutie pie sister. Love to hug her, ( sometimes squeeze her). At least i knew he cannot live without meimei. ha ha... Because whenever he can't see his sister, he will be panic, and look around for her.

A few more weeks will be his birthday, we will make a big one for him in school. Teachers said that Princeton boy is the most cheerful student they had seen. Btw, Princeton could name all his friends, Michelle, Ashton, Chloe, Ethan, Hayden, Ashley, Kenneth, etc! Last time he could only call their English names, but now he could pronounce their Chinese names as well :)

I will take photos of my little Ps everyday, (esp the 2 of them together) and try to have family takings every week. To let them see when they grew up.
